Blake grins and drops his hands to his hips. Even at a distance he can tell the guy's younger, likely benefiting a little better over the changes to the landscape than Blake's managed.

"Little partial to the mermaid pond, but I think that's just 'cause I got to see tough guy Daryl Dixon with a tail." He chuckles lightly, because anyone that knows Daryl would probably be amused to think of him swimming down below the ocean like some kind of fantastical creature of lore.

"You comin' down any time soon, Mark?"

"Only if you won't join me."

But he puts his notepad away and starts to climb down.

Considering to how much he's enjoying being himself, it's a totally safe bet that John's not interested in climbing up. There's plenty going on in Wonderland that he can observe with his own eyes, as himself, and he'd like to keep it that way for a while.

As Meltzer reaches the ground, John shakes his head. "Some kinda babyface. I'm impressed. How's it feel?"

"Better than it should, I think. I keep waiting for the catch."

But he's smiling as he says it.

Blake can appreciate the sentiment, if only for the fact that it gives people an opportunity for a different perspective (even without the aid of a very large jungle gym).

"Not to sound negative, but I'm pretty sure Wonderland's the catch, Mark," he says, but it's not lacking in its own humor. How can he complain too loudly when he's found a lot of good, too?
