"I'll race you over!" Lilith said, wanting to see how quick the girl could be. It could come in handy later.

Climbing onto her swing, Lilith lightly pushed herself forward, her feet bouncing up into the air.

"There is two of them. One of them is blonde and good looking. The other is tall."

She broke into a run to get to the swings but she wasn't as fast as Lilith. It didn't seem to matter to her much. Claiming the swing beside her, she pushed off from the ground and began to swing.

"What did the boys do?"

"Nothing in particular, but they look funny." Lilith said, which naturally meant to a child that she liked them. "I want to play with them. I think it would be funny if we took something of theirs and hid it. They'd look everywhere for it and we could laugh."

"What could we take from them?" She asked, intrigued by her suggestion. "After we find where they are first. I think it could be a lot of fun." Even if part of her knew that she shouldn't really steal in the first place.

Lilith grinned at her new friend, pleased that she was eager to play along. "I think that depends on what they have on them. I saw that one of them always carries a dagger. We could take that!"

"A dagger? I think that would be too dangerous for us to take." She looked worried, believing that it was a bad idea. "What if they have something else instead?"

"If you want. But that dagger seems really important." Lilith said, more aware that it could injure demons than Bela, but she didn't need to tell her.

"I'm a little afraid."

She dropped her gaze from Lilith's, not wanting to get into trouble. For the time being she focused on swinging, gradually getting higher.

"They can't hurt us." Lilith said, trying to assure away Bela's fears. "It will be fun...that's all it is, just some fun."

"I don't know." She lied, trying to keep Bela from being too afraid. "I guess boys who want to pretend they're fierce or something."

"But why would they need to? There doesn't seem to be anything dangerous around here." She hoped anyway. If this place was safe, then maybe she could stay. "I don't want to cause trouble."
