Summary: It's been a long, rough ride. And that little devil's always there to whisper.
The Story:
[ The past few months--since the Christmastime event, really--have been rough for Sam. Between learning the horrible truths of the future, being killed by the Weeping Angels, being almost killed by Tom, losing Dean, and then fighting with the new Dean... and even that wasn't the extent of each and every little thing that had chipped away at his mental and physical state over these few months. Now that he isn't speaking to Dean, now that they're in this big fight, he's kept to his room. To books, bed, and bottle.
It isn't going so well, more or less, and he's been making a point of keeping himself from people for the tike being... ]
