[closed] Starting Over
who: Erica and Isaac
where: The garden
when: backdated to event - night of April 28th
rating: PG-ish - will change if necessary
summary: Isaac and Erica finally talk after their huge fight where everything came to light.
the story:
[The song had been a huge surprise, but then a lot of things had been surprising her since her arrival in Wonderland. She'd had a lot of time to think and process everything since that night. She'd spoken to a few others, said her own goodbye to Boyd, and learned more than she could possibly have imagined about what was waiting for her at home. Despite her best efforts to cut herself off from everyone, she'd never truly been alone - something else that she wasn't used to.
She leaves the library, quickly making her way to the garden, nervous. Forgiveness wasn't a strong point for her, far better with holding grudges than letting go. It was so much easier than actually dealing with what she was feeling, but since the fight, she's been forced to deal with things - face emotions and actively try and work through it all. It was a crash course that she didn't want to take, but she hadn't really been given a choice. She waits for him, toying with the petals of one of the flowers.
Well, it can't get any worse than it already was after the argument. She'd at least try - for him - a courtesy she wouldn't extend to most people.]
