Summary: A fun-filled weekend full of alcohol, flirting and vengeance. Followed by regret when the event ends
The Story:

From the moment she woke up on Friday morning, Bela felt a need. But it wasn't just for one thing. She thought nothing of it until later on in the day when Bela found herself asking the closet in her room for a bottle of vintage Chardonnay. The drinking steadily increases over the course of the weekend- though she has just enough restraint to prevent herself from passing out.

Other cravings reared their heads as well. The desire for company. For intimacy. To feel wanted and needed. If Bela was laying on the charm and flirtation pretty thick, then no one was safe. She would understand completely if no one was swayed by her (very obvious) charms and back off; Bela would count it as their loss instead of hers.

By late Sunday, her hatred for those who had wronged her had increased and Bela was seeking retribution. The Winchesters especially. Demons too. They had ruined her life and hindered her plans. Seeking vengeance..no, justice for what they had done seemed right in her eyes.

Nothing would stop her.

The tea room was one of the nicer parts of the mansion so Bela didn't exactly mind that he had lead them both to there. An opportunity to have more of a conversation with him was a good thing.

Bela chose wine for herself- a glass of Chardonnay. "Cheers." She raised her glass in return to him, clinking it off his.

"So, Victor. What should I know about you?"

[jolting]

"I'm a medical doctor," he told her, pausing for a sip, "and I was recently living in a small town in Maine. I specialize in surgery but since I was the only doctor in town, I did more general practice. Everything from pediatrics to coma patients."

What she didn't need to know, of course, was who he really was and where he actually came from.

"A doctor, hm? Suppose I'll know who to come to if I need a check up." She smirks faintly, teasing him just a little. "Can't say I have ever been to Maine before but I'm not one for small towns."

Which was entirely up to him of course. It wasn't like Bela was going to tell Victor everything about her.

[jolting]

"This place feels a lot like a small town," he noted, sipping at his drink again. "You know everybody and see them all the time. The bad thing about this place is that I can't avoid the magic like I could in Storybrooke."

"That's very true." It seemed to her that she couldn't get away from people without bumping into them. "Storybrooke? I have heard that name before here from someone else. Regina. She saved my life once."

She's getting off the point slightly. "Would you rather be back home?"

[jolting]

Regina saved someone's life? Victor couldn't believe it. Yet hadn't she only recently asked about doing good?

"I don't know what will happen at home," he answered truthfully. "But at the moment, I don't mind being here." He gave her another once-over, smiling.

"I'd be surprised if you did mind." Bela smiled at him in return. "But you're right, I'm fine with being here too."

She took a small sip from her glass. "What would you like to know about me?"

[jolting]

"If you want to go up to my room later," he said, feeling daring. And why not? If this was a time to feed one's desires, that desire was up on the list.

"Without actually getting to know me? That's very presumptuous of you, Victor."

No harm in him being daring but she also wanted to know more about him.

[jolting]

He sipped his drink. "If you insist. What do you want to talk about?"

[onsilksheets]

"About ourselves. You ask a question about me and I'll do the same for you in return." A beat. "Sound fair?"

[jolting]

"Yeah, all right," Victor agreed with a shrug. He could always decide not to answer. "You can even ask first."

[onsilksheets]

"Apart from your job, how do you spend your time?" It wasn't an exactly an invasive question.

[jolting]

"I run some lab experiments," he answered. "I'm a scientist, and this world fascinates me."

[onsilksheets]

"Yeah?" Bela looks interested in that. "And when you're not conducting experiments, what do you do?"

[jolting]

He shrugged. "Work, mostly. I try to stay out of magical affairs whenever possible." Victor arched an eyebrow at her. "Your turn."

[onsilksheets]

"I like to socialise. Drink wine. Travel." Even if her travel plans were extremely limited here. "Work on my shooting skills. Read."

[jolting]

Victor honestly tried to show her a genuine interest. He wasn't very good at it, but at least here he didn't have other things to distract him. Though so far, it sounded like Emma would get more out of this than him.

"Doesn't some of the fun leave reading after you've met the characters in the stories?" he wondered.

[onsilksheets]

If she was boring him, Bela didn't notice. Personally, she didn't think she was boring but it was all a matter of opinion. What would be the point of lying about her interests and likes?

"Honestly, I haven't really thought about that. The characters seem to be quite different to how they're portrayed in the stories." She drank some more. "Most of the books I've read are language books. Useful if you travel a lot."

[jolting]

"Very different," Victor agreed with a twitch of his lips. "Not many people expect Rumplestiltskin to have his finger in every pie." He took a drink before speaking again. "I always found it interesting that despite being from different worlds and times, we all speak the same language."

[onsilksheets]

"Though it wouldn't be surprising, given what I know of Rumplestiltskin from the books." It made her wonder how much different other characters were. "It is quite interesting now that you mention it. Maybe the mansion has a hand in making it possible for all of us to understand one another."

[jolting]

"Maybe." Victor sipped his drink. The alcohol was at least giving him a pleasant buzz, though he was starting to lose interest. This was not the conversation he was hoping for.

Bela studied him for a few moments. "Have I said something I shouldn't have? You don't look very enthused." Which kind of irritated Bela if she was being honest.

[jolting]

"I'm not very good with people," Victor told her with an apologetic shrug. "Casual conversation, I mean. Friends." He drowned out the rest with another sip of his drink.

"I don't think you've been terrible." Bela replied, acknowledging the shrug. "After all, it's not conversation you're after, yeah? Maybe I'm not what you're looking for."
