The Story:

[Integra had not spoken to him since the little...incident between them. He couldn't blame her. It was probably one of the weirdest things that had ever happened in his life...actually it was probably the single most weirdest thing ever. It wasn't every day that a man in his 30s turns into a love struck, hormonal teenager. He just hoped it was the last.]

Integra.

[He knocked on her door with his knuckle. Did she really think you could avoid him? Not only did they have a pact together, but they lived on the same floor.]

Open up.

[Don't make him break in there.]

[Pact or not, Integra felt humiliated. That was twice all ready that this world hade a fool of her. Peter Pan's party was nothing compared to this.

Integra had been avoiding him at all cost, yes. She had locked herself up, brewed some tea, and was writing at her desk her initial speculations of what could have caused what they all experienced. When he knocked at her door and called out for her, she didn't answer. The room was quiet. For all he knew the bedroom was empty and there was nothing he could do but come back later. You know, later. When she's decided what the devil she was going to say to him. For now she ignored the door. Nobody's home, Levi. Get lost.]

[He knows you are in there because Eren is in his room still freaking out and you don't have any other friends here. Or at least he doesn't think you do.]

[He left her door to return to his room for a few piece of equipment. It doesn't take him long before he walks back out, to nearest open window and with the help of the 3D gear that is strapped to him, he finds Integra's window and opens it. Why the window? Because she would be excepting him to come though the door-- and hse might shoot him.]

Knock knock.

[For a brief moment she actually thought he'd given up. Silly her, despite the short time knowing each other, she had all ready known the guy didn't give up. Integra had gone back to her scribbles when she heard her window open. She froze and then-

Knock knock.

That bastard. How the hell had he gotten up to the tenth floor?!]

Breaking through windows because someone doesn't answer the door for you is hardly the right way to deal with this situation, Captain. [She moved towards the window to see if it was really him.]

[At least he didn't bust the door down??? Progress.]

[Look, if you feel better about it he will just stay outside. He's totally fine just hanging off the wires of his gear. He sways a bit in the breeze, but his footing is steady enough for him not to move much as she comes to the window.]

[Excuse her while she leans out the window to take a better look at the damned toasters you got strapped to your thighs. Grappling hooks? How do you have this and not electricity in your world?]

I think we both understand that we weren't in our right minds.

[At least, he hopes you understand that. Otherwise this is going to be an awkward conversation. But why wouldn't she? He still had some memories lingering of the 'family' he had and the relationships with classmates he had never met before. There was no way that she was unaffected by that.]

[Ugh, moments like these is when even she hates herself for being blunt. She moved away from the window.]

I'm well aware none of us were in our right minds. I would never be a moronic love-struck teenager otherwise, I assure you.

[Oh, good. No gun in the face or being shoved off. Maybe they were becoming friends. He pulled himself into the room, the wires and hooks of his gear unhooked as he moved and retracted back into the handles as he did.

He was glad to hear that they had an understanding. Under normal circumstances that probably wouldn't have happened.]

[He wasn't even like that when he was an actually teenager. What possessed him to be in such a role?]

This place is more fucked up than we thought.

For once, I believe that's an understatement. We are in grave danger the longer we stay here.

[This wasn't just a physical attack. It was mental and she wasn't sure how she felt about her unknown enemies having this amount of power.]

A soldier of mine has been in the world for awhile. He told me that these 'events' come from people's memories. I told you about my world right?

[Wait. Wait. So these events were pulled from people's memories. They grabbed theirs and dropped everyone into it? She had heard something or other about the importance of memories but this was alarming and it showed in her eyes.]

Christ. [The last thing she needed was vampires or Titans littering their world. Hell, if their worlds were horrid, what was to say there weren't others with dangerous worlds out there? All of a sudden, she didn't even hate the fact she was stuck as a high school girl. Anything was better than putting innocent people through their world.] This complicates things.

I'm not sure about vampires, but I can tell you right now if titans came tomorrow, we would all be fucked.

Assuming you and I aren't the only ones with foul worlds, we could have quite a crisis in our hands. There's no way to prepare for this, no telling what we could remember even if we did prepare.

[A pause.]

Someone told me that when a person dies here they come back. Every time they're killed, their return is delayed and they said dying a fifth time was never well advised.

If we are I would count us lucky.

[But luck has never been on his side.]

We can't just wait though. I can't sit here knowing this place can go to shit at any moment.

Without the source of whatever manipulates time and space, we have no way of protecting ourselves and keeping our minds when everything changes.

[A beat.]

Things could have been worse than what happened.

But if that was a freak incident and we keep our memories if and when our world come here then we will be sitting ducks.

I'd rather prepare and then have it go to shit then have nothing.

What do you want to do then? Leave yourself a letter and hope who ever is pulling the strings doesn't take it away?

It doesn't sound like a bad idea if it means less people die.

[That is leaving a lot to chance though. Things would have to go perfectly, and that is rare for him. Still, he would much rather have a back up plan and not be able to use it because he can't remember than to have nothing.]
