Rating: No more than PG, I don't think!
Summary: Bruce goes about enjoying a peaceful week. Also meditation and jiu-jitsu sessions just as he mentioned on the network.
The Story:

MEDITATION & TRAINING;

[ Once that particularly shifting event's over and everything returns to normal - or as normal as this place can get -, Bruce goes about setting up a room for a few meditation and jiu-jitsu sessions as he'd arranged with a few people over the network. He finds an empty room right on the first floor, spacious enough, and paves most of it with foam mats, then sets up this really old-looking stereo where they can play a few calming songs if people happen to be into that.

Then, with the whole place looking about decent enough, he sends out quick messages to anyone who'd expressed interest, letting them know which room he took up, and that he'll be there during both early mornings until 10, and late evenings after dinner.

And, of course, if anyone happens to be walking past and the slightly cracked door gets their attention, feel free to take a peek inside. ]


ANYWHERE ELSE;

[ Other than that, Bruce can be found in the usual spots throughout the week. He spends a good amount of his time at the lab, with pauses to go to the kitchen for food, and outside for walks with Juno a few times during the day. Feel free to bump into him anywhere, or if you're seeking him out just come knock on his door! ]

His name is Rufus. [Billy can't help but grin as Rufus trips over his own little legs trying to play with Bruce's dog.] What's her name? Or his?

[ He smiles a little too, letting the puppies get distracted with one another. For the better, since on her own, Juno tends to try to get his attention almost constantly. Like this, they can talk perfectly without that distraction. ]

Juno. And it's a she.

[It looked as though they would be occupied for a while, which was good because Billy hadn't had a chance to meet Bruce yet. He actually hadn't really met any of the Avengers here, besides Natasha ] I'm Billy, Billy Kaplan. I don't think we've met yet.

[hyperkinesia]

[ Same for Bruce, and though he did know their names already he hadn't met or personally talked with all of them. At the introduction he nods, turning to look back at Billy. ]

Bruce Banner. We haven't, though I think you know me in some other alternate reality already.

[actualwizard]

[Billy nods, not surprised he'd heard of him if he'd met Kate or Tommy.]

I know of you back home, I hadn't had the pleasure of meeting you though, not yet anyway.

[hyperkinesia]

Right. Well, guess I beat me to the punch. The other me anyway.

[ Alternate universe jokes. Except it's not really all that funny, just confusing. ] So how long have you been here? I know how many you are, but I never know who got here first or last.

[actualwizard]

[alternate universes and time travel are always confusing. Billy was never a fan of either.]

I think I'm coming up on two months. Kate was here first then me, Tommy, and Teddy. What about you guys?

[hyperkinesia]

[ There's still the time travel option too, even if an alternate timeline in some way. These kids could very well be a part of their eventual future. ]

Three months for me, and I was the last from our group. Loki's been here the longest, if I remember right. The others had been here for only a few weeks before I showed up.

[actualwizard]

[That is definitely in the realm of possibility.]

I wonder why it pulls us here I'm groups almost. My team seemed to show up within weeks of each other too.

[hyperkinesia]

If it's even purposeful. Maybe it's just random coincidence, maybe we got lucky.

[ A pause. ] Or unlucky. Depends on whether or not having a large group here will even count for anything, or if we're all just... more stuck.

[actualwizard]

At least we aren't stuck here without people we know. That would probably be worse, I feel better knowing some of my team is here at least. [He shrugs.]

Even if I wish none of us were here at all. [That was one wish he couldn't make work. So much for being a chaos magic user here.]

[hyperkinesia]

So do I.

[ Still, Billy's words ring true in his ears, so much so he could've said them himself. Between being here by himself, or together with everyone else, he'd rather this.

Even if he knows that's a selfish thought. All the while, he knows too that their chances are far better if they're all here. ] But I know what you mean. I wouldn't want any of them to be here alone either.
