were-rabbit on the loose!
Who: Panne (
doesnotplay) and YOU!
Where: All over the grounds of Wonderland
When: August 12th
Rating: PG13
Summary: Having just arrived and highly disoriented, Panne assumes her true form to protect herself while investigating what has happened.
Reminder that Panne has a PERMISSIONS POST regarding her senses and what she's allowed to pick up about your character!
The Story:
As she wakes, the feeling that she is not supposed to be here is immediate. It is not just unease, or a disquieting sense of dread, a but massive, full-blown wrongness that assaults her senses. Her instincts tell her to run, to dig, but she stands her ground. She had just been with the Shepherds, and her loyalty remains true to the Exalt, even in times of great panic. What if those she fights alongside with are in danger as well? No, she has to take action.
Panne takes hold of the Beaststone in her pouch, and transforms.
Now in a more capable body, she assesses her situation. Standing up on her massive back legs and canting the air, she separates the scents around her. Grass. Forest. Ocean. Man-spawn. Many man-spawn, altogether in one place. Other, strange scents she does not recognize.
"Hmm..." she rumbles in her barrel-chest, tilts her ears this way and that, and then runs. In this form, even bigger than a horse, her speed is akin to greased lightning. Occasionally she'll pause to sniff something, or lift her ears to listen to the wind, but only for the slightest moment before sprinting off again.
She gives the Mansion a wide berth, where the man-spawn smells seem to be accumulating. She doesn't dare approach it alone-- for all she knows it could be an enemy fortification. She would not enter without the rest of the Shepherds, whom she trusts to show up eventually. They would not abandon her.

"A-Ah...Sorry?" Man-spawn? This was no where near something from his home. "I just have never seen...someone like you?" He avoided the use of the word 'thing'. "I can try to answer?"

She listens carefully to his heartbeat as he speaks. He is obviously nervous, but he does not seem to be lying. Even that ridiculous name-- Wonderland? Panne hmmms deeply.
"You have been taken here against your will as well?"
no subject
There was genuine concern in his words. Even if she wasn't human he would never want to wish that loneliness on anyone. Except maybe titans, but they were something that needed to be destroyed from the world.
"I have, but it's a little different for me." A small chuckle. "Regardless I'm here now and seems people have been here a long time."
no subject
"Different?" gaining a little bit of respect from his small display of kindness, she inches ever-so-slightly forward, snuffling around him to try and get a better hold of his scent. Her long, whiplike whiskers tickle him all over, "what is different? Who has been here a long time?"
no subject
"Yeah, long story don't worry about it." Marco tried to drop it though when her whiskers tickle his hands and face he can't help but to chuckle a little bit. "Aha, just what happened before I got here. Um...a friend has been here for months?"
no subject
"I cannot believe that anyone could be kept against their will so long. Would it not be easy to leave, through the forest?"
no subject
"I would like to know. Seems there is some kind of barrier...so they thought this out."
no subject
She says it with a great load of confidence; obviously, no barrier can hold Panne of the Taguel for very long. She raises one of her huge hind feet to scratch at her equally ginormous ear, an almost humorously contemplative motion.

Marco had a question as he watched the other scratch and move. "So...this is your normal form?" It was a kind of question more if she had another...or if people just accepted this in her home.
no subject
She tilts her head again, thinking, and then shrugs her shoulders. She feels no danger; there's no reason to remain like this, scaring off even more man-spawn.
"Fine, I will transform."
In a burst of light, she becomes much smaller, and reveals her humanoid form. Her lopped rabbits ears, tail, and patches of fur still make it very clear who she is. The guards that she was wearing now fit her like clothing.

The tilt of his head expresses so much confusion. How can someone have two skins? That doesn't make sense.
Though when she speaks he jumps at the light and stared in shock. There was an interested look on his face as he looked to her face. Wow, she was pretty...still clearly not human but pretty.
"Whoa...that is really cool."
no subject
"It is the power of that all Taguel share. We are both beast and man."
no subject
"Amazing! You are really amazing."

"Is there nothing else of use that you can tell me?"

She wrinkles her nose in distaste at the thought.
"My name is Panne."

Marco offered a hand to shake hers.
"Nice to meet you, Panne."
