[Open] You're mine 'til the sun comes up
Who: Scott McCall
notmymccalling and You
Where: Generally outside anywhere, he's roaming about.
When: Sunset on 9/9
Rating: Teen
Summary: Full Moon's out so Scott's prowling about outside to de-stress.
The Story:
Scott really wasn't entirely sure he knew why he felt like he was crawling out of his skin. It was the full moon, yes, but he'd redeveloped an anchor, so it shouldn't be as bad as it was. Maybe it had something to do with the fact that he had this sinking feeling that things have just been too easy lately. Whatever the case, he decided a stroll around the grounds would be a fairly decent idea. If he did start to lose control, he could dart into the woods and calm himself down or claw up a few trees in frustration.
The fresh air did wonders for his antsy, cooped up feeling. He could already feel the crawling under his skin lessen, despite being directly in the moon's glow. Maybe a trip to the training room was in order. If he wasn't afraid he'd break something, he might actually go for that idea.
[OOC: Scott can be found roaming around just about anywhere outside! Feel free to bump into him wherever you like. As always, prose is wonderful, but I don't mind bracketspam either. <3]

The blush and the laugh made Scott smile brighter. Billy caught on and his comment was terribly amusing.
"Nah, it's okay. It's kind of like enhanced vision. When I use them, I can see perfectly in the dark and pick up details with ease like thermal prints left behind or track scents. The red signifies me as a protector of my
Packfriends." He conveniently left out what he was, but hoped the information he did provide would be enough for now. He felt like he could trust Billy, but it was still a secret he clung to for the sake of himself and his pack."When you first got your magic powers, were they hard to control? If--if you don't mind me asking, I mean." He added quickly.

"That seems really useful, is that why you're out at night?" Scott didn't seem like he was going to explain what he was, but that was ok for now, everyone here had their secrets.
"I don't mind," Billy told him. "They were really hard to control. When they first manifested I was getting my ass kicked by this asshole I went to school with. I wished I had the ability to fight back and then next thing I knew I was shooting lightening out of my hands. Which of course was tied to my brand of magic; if I wish for something hard enough I can make it happen, bend reality to my will. That makes wanting something really dangerous so I constantly have to keep myself in check."

"Yeah, sort of. My eyes are strongest tonight, but I've also been feeling kinda cooped up. So patrolling sounded like the best idea." And he was grateful for Billy's discretion.
Now Scott looked fascinated. Enough so that he already forgot to feel shy about being caught with glowing eyes in the dark. "That's... incredible." Eloquent as ever, McCall. "I mean... to have those kind of worry hanging over you and you're actually able to keep it under control. That's amazing, you know. Power like that can go to peoples' heads, but I think you're the best person to have that kind of power if someone has to have it." Because Scott really didn't feel any kind of threat from Billy, despite the power he wields.

"People just like to react to what you are and what you can do instead of getting to know who you are and what you actually do." It resulted in a lot of unnecessary death, in Scott's opinion.

"Not everyone has, but some do. They're the people who count. All you can do is try not to let them capture or kill you, and keep trying to help people. Our best just won't be good enough to some." Oh, he understood, alright. But he also sensed the discomfort and decided to segue the subject away.
"So, um, is there anything you do to keep busy. Besides Teddy." he teased.

"Around here? I've been training with Natasha and my team when I can. Trying to get a video game console set up in the theater. What about you?" He asked with a grin. "Ya know besides your partners. Though I'm sure that could keep you pretty busy."
