Thread; In Progress
Who: Fai -
kitty_in_wonder, Terazuma -
terazumahajime
Where: Various locations around the mansion.
When: After this conversation.
Rating: TBA
Summary: Fai agrees to show Terazuma around.
The Story:
Terazuma was decidedly not in a good mood as he shut off the terminal he had found and made his way to the staircase just at the end of the corridor. It was hardly uncommon behaviour for him, but his co-workers at the Shokan Division were used to his grumpy ways. The other occupants of the mansion were not. The problem was, he was still clueless as to how he had ended up in this place and it grated on his nerves.
The day had started out normally; he had just finished making plans to meet up at lunch with Kannuki, as she wished to use the database in the library, he wished to travel to Chijou to search for any missing leads, and both knew that Terazuma and the library did not mix. Especially when Tsuzuki was also a factor. Then, just like that, instead of shifting from Meifu to Chijou, he had ended up here. A while later he was completely sure he was unable to slide back to the land of the dead and equally unable to slide forward into the land of the living, and to this very moment, no matter how much he muled over it, he still had no answer.
Once he reached the stairs, he clenched his jaw and huffed, letting his red eyes slide shut a moment. There was no point stressing out over it now, especially as the Black One had surfaced in his mind, pacing restlessly and threatening to break free. No Kannuki meant no reverse-transformation. He had to try and find his calm centre.
A moment later he opened his eyes as his acute hearing picked up the sound of someone approaching.

It had been so long since he had seen Kurogane, the only person whose blood could sustain him now, and he was absolutely starving because of it. Though he certainly did not want to see Kurogane, and he was not particularly attached to his life. Starving had just turned out to be very painful, more so than fai had imagined it might be. It left him paler than he had ever been and he was certain that his lanky frame had become a bit thinner.
Luckily, Fai had something to distract him from that. He would be showing Terazuma around the mansion like a good person. Really, having been so confused himself when he first arrived, he was happy to, regardless of what his other reasons may have been. When he finally reached the top of the stairs, he spotted someone waiting there.
" Hello! Are you Terazuma?" Fai called out to him, grinning and giving a small wave.

He shoved his hands into his pockets and moved to meet the pale blonde, his red eyes scrutinising the other thoughtfully. He hadn't inquired much about Fai before arranging this meeting, so it seemed appropriate to make a mental profile on him while there was the chance. Terazuma wasn't exactly sure of what he was dealing with in this place, so he knew better than to be complacent.
"Lead on, I'll follow." he said, and then a moment later, he added in a grunt, "So, been in this place a couple of months, huh. And you have no observations other than we're trapped?"

" Hm...most of the top three floors are residents, ne?" Fai mentioned before bringing Terazuma to the stairs, heading down them with the first floor in mind.
" Though...there is one other thing you should know I suppose," Fai said, glancing back at Terazuma. " The mansion seems to like to play with the residents, ne?"
