Gambler of Fate + Realian = Cute? (Thread Log ; On-Going)

Who: Luxord [livejournal.com profile] stackthedeck & MOMO [livejournal.com profile] cross_hilbert
Where Eastern Courtyard and then the Festival itself
When: Evening
Rating: G/PG
Summary: Luxord and MOMO go to the Festival!

the Story: All was quiet along the corridors of the mansion since most of its inhabitants were out enjoying the festival that had seemingly sprung out of nowhere. Noone therefore noticed the peach-haired Realian who was hurriedly making her way down the flight of stairs that would take her directly to the set of double doors that led to the Eastern Courtyard.

Outside the glass windows, the sun was already beginning to set, the lights in the mansion itself gradually lighting up on their own to illuminate the mansion grounds which would otherwise be cast in darkness.

Dressed in a navy blue yukata with sakura flower petals decorating the soft material, MOMO clutched a paper bag containing some of the almond cookies that she had baked just the day before close to herself. The day was going to come to an end in a few hours and with it, the festival as well if the comments by the other mansion inhabitants on the network were anything to go by.

Upon reaching her intended destination, MOMO cast her gaze upon the greenery that was dimly illuminated by both the moon light above as well as the sparsely distributed lights located in the courtyard, trying to locate the Nobody whom she had befriended and come to look upon fondly as an older brother that she could never have.

"Mister Luxord?"

The Nobody knew quite well that he was a little late, but it didn't entirely bother him - and he just hoped that MOMO didn't mind either. It had taken him longer than anticipated to dress correctly in his yukata - the yukata in question was patterned to look like a night sky, and the gambler could have sworn that the stars even twinkled on occasion - but he had finally reached the festival grounds and was now looking for MOMO, scanning the crowd for that familiar little face.

It took him a few minutes longer than he would have liked, but eventually Luxord spotted her in her own yukata - and couldn't help but smirk. Firstly, she looked quite cute in her yukata, (from a big brother's point of view, of course) and secondly, as long as she didn't turn around too hastily, he had the perfect opportunity to sneak up on her.

Trying to ensure that his geta didn't give him away, the gambler snuck up on MOMO, and patted her on the head, smirk still there.

"Good evening, love," he said smoothly in greeting, hoping that he didn't scare her -- too much.
