[It's far closer to an if, and one Pepper tries not to think about too often. She misses Tony, more than words can say, but that's all the more reason for her friends be happy in her mind. Bucky especially, given his circumstances; he won't have an opportunity like this in their own world, whereas Pepper one day will. So her focus is entirely on him, and the all-too-familiar problem he's having with Steve.]

Well, if you add in dinner, you've already listed most of the traditional date night options. [And Bucky doesn't want something ordinary; it's clear that he's trying to create something truly special for Steve.] But you're thinking about it too hard. Even if it's something you do every day, it's the fact that you're doing it together that makes it good.

[But already aware that the answer won't satisfy, she instead focuses on what he says.] Well, why can't you recreate something from the city here? I'm sure you'd be able to find a few people to help you out, not to mention the whole magic rooms with magic closets bit.

[ Pepper's got a point. The best part of a date is spending time together, especially when you know the company's gonna be good. ]

Yeah but... [ He doesn't actually know how to finish that. ] Maybe you're right. Maybe I am thinkin' about this too hard.

To tell you the truth, I've been thinkin' about doin' something like that for -- well, for you and I guess anyone else who's interested. Thought I'd see how much of a theme park I could get goin' with a couple of rooms. Just for fun, for the holidays, you know? It's hard to find gifts when people can get whatever they want by walkin' to a closet so...
