One Tequila, Two Tequila
Who: Gabriel and you!
Where: In the bar
When: Nov 10
Rating: PG - possibly worse
Summary: Poor archangel coping mechanisms
The Story:
He's dead.
It shouldn't come as such a profound shock, really. Gabriel knew that standing with the Winchesters, trying to buy them enough time to get away was very likely going to get him killed. Hearing his worst fears confirmed by a random stranger? Welp. That was something different.
So after a few chats with some of the new people and a rather unexpected visit from his big brother-slash-killer, Gabriel decided there was only one way to really deal with what had happened to him in the last few hours. He was going to get drunk, or at least make a heroic effort to try.
Sure there was a beach he could drink on, but Gabriel needed a proper bar with enough of a liquor supply to help him at least get a minor buzz on. So off to the fifth floor he went, only getting momentarily distracted by a room full of baby boars before finding the bar and bellying up.
Everything else can wait. Right now he's going to drink and do his level damned (ha) best not to think about Lucifer.

But what exactly are you getting at? [Because that's a rather particular question.]
no subject
I meant more of personality, versus how you prefer to dress.
[He was just a little bit concerned that this Gabriel was going to be like his twin, and there were already enough human hating angels in Wonderland.]

Then two meatheads by the name of Winchester had to go and kickstart the Apocalypse all over again. Worst of all? I went and got involved. Stood with the humans and apparently will wind up getting shanked over it.
no subject
You stood with the humans. [A slow pause.] Shanked?
[Michael knew what the word meant, but had many questions about it, questions he didn't think was his place to ask. How did this Gabriel know he was going to die, for one.] I have met a few people here who've arrived post death. That, apparently, is not impossible.
no subject
[Gabriel mimics being stabbed] Yanno, dead? And no, I got here pre-death. I just found out the gory details after getting here. Lucky me, right?
no subject
Someone told you of your death.
[He frowned at that, thinking that having to live while knowing when or how you were going to die, would be unbearable.] And that is why you are here. [Michael looks around them.] In the bar.
no subject
Family that happens to be stuck here with me. Awkward, right?
no subject
[His expression had taken on an intense edge, hard angles and dim lighting making him look almost livid.] More than awkward, Gabriel.
[Painful, unbearable. Worse than that, Michael thought.]

[Michael had expected Gabriel to say it was, well, the other Michael. That being because what he knew of them so far, Michael was a bit more unsavory than Lucifer was. Unfortunately, Lucifer had done a good job so far of charming him. He quickly masked the surprised look on his face, and took another shot as well.]
Then we should talk about something else. Anything. [He shrugs a little, and nods in Gabriel's direction.]
no subject
Change of subject. Hell yes. Gabriel shoots him a vaguely grateful look.] Any good flying spots around here?
no subject
[Michael had flown where he could, as high up as this strange world allowed him, but there wasn't too far that he could go.]
The beach is nice, quiet.
