[closed] step two: don't stab your son
Who: Mikael & Elijah Mikaelson
Where: Fourth floor, room 003

Rating: M for violence? IDK man someone's getting stabbed.
Summary: Family reunion part two, this time with more event shenanigans.
The Story:
Unfortunately for Mikael, phones aren't that integral to his plan to completely and utterly destroy Niklaus. Alice's announcement goes unnoticed, as does Camille's arrival; fortunately for her and her allies. The device provided by Wonderland sits unnoticed on a table in the room he's claimed as his own, on the floor between his children and far enough along that people won't bother him down there. He spends far too much in the room he's stashed Rebekah in, anyway.
When the event hits, it hits Mikael hard. A thousand years is a very long time, along the way Niklaus and his siblings had taken him out temporarily more than once. At first it's just the strength, doors break off at the hinges and eventually into pieces; soon it expands to include his speed and senses. He can hear conversations happening five floors away and smell the blood pumping through their veins as if he was standing next to them. It's the hunger that's affected the most; Rebekah's been torn into enough times that if she wasn't an Original, she'd have died a dozen times over by now. As the days pass, he finds himself feeding on her more and more until eventually he's feeding on her more than she's healing and it still isn't enough.
Even his darkness-addled mind knows that he isn't ready to take on Niklaus yet, so instead Disappointment #3 gets moved up the list. Before the event kicked in, he'd been keeping an eye on Elijah after his mysterious reappearance. Rebekah had told him her brother was here, but for the first few days Mikael hadn't seen him. It's a risk confronting Elijah with Niklaus' room being so close, but right now Mikael doesn't care. With Papa Tunde's Blade sheathed in the waist of his pants, he moves to find and eat his son.
There's a time and place for politeness and the chaos engulfing the mansion isn't it. With a swift kick, Elijah's door goes flying inwards and across the room.
