It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas - OTA
Who: Gabriel and YOU
Where: All over the Mansion
When: During Ewaymas 12/12-12/25
Rating: PG-13?
Summary: Gabriel partakes in some of the holiday goodies and later holes up in the diner. Just when they've gotten comfortable for a few days he'll eat cookies and turn into his 8 year old self, escaping the diner into the Mansion for a bit of hide-and-seek... (Child Gabe will be responding to tags with

The Story:
Scenario A - The Punch
Gabriel has partaken in the punch and feels pretty and witty and gay for the holiday season. Forget about the fact the holiday is to celebrate the birth of Christ which didn't even happen in December, or that he might have disemboweled, decapitated, hurt or otherwise angered several Wonderland prisoners days prior, or the fact he killed billions of humans because his father left. Let's let bygones be bygones, he just loves everyone today! And the next, and the next after that until things go down with the Jabberwocky over on the Mirrorside. But until then nothing can break his good mood, so why not take advantage of it? He's not even drunk! Though he has been enjoying anything he can find, Christmas cookies especially, as well as the decorations. You can find him just about anywhere in the mansion, he may even find you!
Scenario B - The Cookies (12/21?)
At the Rabbit Hole/Diner
Clearly the iced and decorated sugary sweets are perfectly fine and normal right? He was eating them before and nothing happened. Days have gone by with all of them in the Diner and no word on the Jabberwocky breaking free onto their side. Feeling up for a little snack, but not quite hungry for a whole slice of pie, he finds a wayward plate of the Christmas cookies sat on the counter. HE didn't remember them being there before, perhaps they were fresh.
He picks one up and gives it a little sniff. MMMmm smells like diabetes, and they're a little warm too.
"Ned, did you make these? And here I thought you wouldn't get into the festivities." And with that he takes a bite, taking off Santa's head and chewing with delight. He doesn't even notice the change, but anyone watching might.
He's shrunk down to about a 8-year old size. So much for protecting the Diner, right? He's just sitting happily on the stool, finishing his cookie and swinging his feet happily. He starts to hum a little ditty to himself and reach for another when the sword at his hip taps his chair. He blinks and looks down, drawing it from it's sheath and nearly toppling over backwards off his stool with the weight. Luckily for him his little pair of black wings fan out and flutter, helping him to keep his balance. He brandishes the sword, which is about as big as he is, with two hands.
"WHOA COOL! LOOK WHAT I'VE GOT!" Jumping down to land deftly on his feet he'll swing it about to the best of his ability making "swish" noises as it cuts the air.
Anywhere in the Mansion and beyond?
The tiny Archangel will somehow slip out of the Diner at the first chance he gets. He wants to go explore the Mansion and see all the stuff there is to see. So feel free to catch the tot or just distract him till someone catches up with him.
(ooc: aka here's your option to run into little gabe outside of the diner if your character isn't there or wouldn't be there for one reason or another! I'm up for any version of Gabe being anywhere if you'd really like for them to meet outside the Mansion! Also action tags or prose is fine I'll follow your lead.)

At the diner, for bitty Gabe.
Alex rushes across the room, "Whoa, whoa! Let's put that away, alright?"
no subject
"Why? I'm not hurting anyone."
Picking up the sword in two hands with some struggle he levels the blade at Alex.
"You wanna fight? You can be the dragon!" and in his best Knightly voice "EN GARDE FOUL DEVIL LIZARD!!" He gives a blind swipe of the sword and there's a ripping noise as the blade catches the upholstery of one of the booths. His shoulders draw up, wings pulling in tight as they fold to make him seem a little smaller.
"Whoops." Sorry Ned.
no subject
After he puts the sword out of Gabriel's reach, he turns back to him. "Dragon, huh? There many dragons in heaven?"
no subject
Though he doesn't make a move after Alex, instead crossing his arms over his chest as his wings ease back into a folded position.
"No, but I can read you know." He watched the humans with fascination as they told stories and painted pictures, creating the beasts of legend. Jeeze Alex, maybe he just wanted to be like those normal boys on earth once and a while?
"It's just a game, what's it matter to you?"
no subject
Alex stands firm. Archangel or not, child or not, Gabriel with a sword could be dangerous. Never mind that his own sword was at his side as always, or that when he'd been made little, he had walked around with a gun.
"And it matters to me because it's my job to make sure nobody gets hurt." He gives a pointed look to the slashed vinyl on the booth seat.
no subject
Welp Alex, guess we'll see how good you are with tiny angels. Gabriel's wings puff up and he gives a little push with them to try and quickly get around the soldier. He has it in his head that he's going to some how get past him to grab the sword where it's been set out of reach. He can fly, albeit not very well or high, but he may be able to give himself a boost if it's somewhere he can't reach on his own.
no subject
"Fine," he says, "How about this? You can have the sword, if you let me show you how to use it. Safely."
no subject
"C'mon! Seriously??"
He crosses his arms over his chest and glares, grumpily. There's a moment of him tapping his foot impatiently but eventually he sighs and gives up.
"Fine. Now give it back and show me."
no subject
He has a bad feeling he may regret this, but he needs to see what the kid knows before he knows what he can teach him.
Little Gabe;
When Gabriel ate the cookies, he hadn't been there to stop him, but he was back now, watching with guarded amusement as the boy ran out the diner doors and into the hall. He snags him by the back of his shirt, gently tugging him to stop him.]
Gabriel.
[His voice is stern, he can't help it, but his twin didn't need to be running off and getting hurt.]
no subject
Let me go! I just wanna explore the mansion.
no subject
It isn't safe for you to explore alone.
[He lightens his fingers to show his twin he's just concerned, but not enough that he can run away.]
I will go with you, or we'll both go back to the diner.
no subject
I'm a big boy I can handle myself. What's going to hurt me anyway?
no subject
[Michael tips his head down, expression stern, and disapproving, of Gabriel's fidgeting.]
Wonderland is full of danger, Gabriel. You have to exercise caution. Alright?
no subject
I will. You don't have to worry. I'm strong.
no subject
[Michael fights the urge to ruffle his hair, as he didn't want to - ruffle his feathers - by doing so.]
Come back into the diner with me. Or I can go with you.
Lil Gabe!
And clearly everyone hadn't gotten the memo about the cookies, he figures as another pipsqueak goes charging down the hall, waving a sword in the air. A sword Gabriel's going to confiscate to make sure there are no sudden and unexpected amputations] Where's the fire, kiddo?
no subject
With a gasp he comes to a halt, staring at his empty hands before whirling around to face the culprit as he speaks. He casts a scowl at the adult stood before him and charges right up to him to try and reach for his blade, leaping if he has to, little black wings giving quick, fluttering beats to get him a bit higher off the ground.]
Give it back!
Eighth floor
The eight floor was quiet as she walked down it towards her bedroom, and that suited Bela just fine. She passed the hookah room that Jesse had created, stopping outside it for a moment. A feeling of sadness washed over Bela as she touched the door with a hand, fingers smoothing over the dark wood. So many memories in that room.
When Bela had her moment she turned away from the door and walked further down the hall, looking forward to getting to her sanctuary.
Happy!Gabriel, sorry I thought I tagged this orz
"Bela! So good to see you. Sorry I nearly ran into you there. How are you doing?" Someone is just bursting with Christmas Cheer.
Not to worry!
"It's okay, Gabriel." Kind of wasn't. "I'm all right. Just fine." Bela replies, her tone breezy and light. She found it strange that he was so...enthusiastic about seeing her and then the embrace? "Are you okay yourself?"
no subject
Was the hug too much?
"I'm fine...Thank you." He answers, somewhat uncertain about her being as well as she claims to be.
"Are you--I'm sorry did I catch you at a bad time?"
no subject
"No, I- it's just that the hug was unexpected. You and I-" Bela does her best to be tactful. "We're not exactly the closest and I didn't think that you were the hugging type." She knew how he felt about humans in general and his actions towards her during the event still resonated with Bela.
"My mood isn't the best right now. I was on my way to my room when you caught me." Perhaps being more honest with him was better. "But it'll pass soon enough."
