[CLOSED] I saw an angel become the devil
Who: Cordelia & Angel Angelus
Where: Fourth Floor, Room 16
When: January 14th, evening
Rating: PG-13 (because Angelus is a dick)
Summary: Really, he's a dick! Cordy just wants to step outside for a minute. Figures he'd ruin that too.
The Story:
To say that the Titans running around had been fun would be a big fat lie. A big, fat, bloated lie. Of course Cordelia tried to do what she could in regards to helping out, but it was clear from the get-go that they weren't anything like the demons she was used to dealing with. They were huge, lumbering, and decidedly not easily maimed by ancient weaponry or well-timed comebacks. No, they were destructive brutes and Cordelia was so glad they were gone.
Those were a long, long few days.
She didn't think she would be so glad to hole up in her room, but she was. Strange to think that it had already become a sort of second home, even though it was missing the killer view and phantom roommate of her apartment. Temporary housing, she assured herself, and a welcome retreat after avoiding getting squashed by giant monsters. Of course, she couldn't stay in her room forever. No, a good lazy day was, well, good, but she was human and had humans needs. Some needs which required a quick trip down the hall to the bathroom.
Cordelia honestly hadn't thought to go knocking down every door on the fourth floor and see who or what was lurking. First of all? Impractical. The hallways seemed essentially endless and she was fairly confident it wasn't just a trick of the mind. Second of all? She had better things to do. So she didn't think of much when she opened the door to her room, room sixteen, and stepped out into the hall.
