Summary: Killian Jones returns from his canon update. The "Captain Hook" name no longer quite applies.
The Story:

[Killian's in Wonderland again, though he has two hands now, and his clothes no longer look so outlandishly piratey. He's finally gone native in... well, his leather jacket's shorter. That's really the main difference.

This isn't where he's supposed to be, though it wasn't the first few times either. All he can think is that he's so glad he remembers it. He knows that will make Emma happy. Thinking of her lightens his heart for a moment and he strides towards the mansion, ready to find her, to ensure her he hasn't left her, not really, that he's still here and will be with her forever and never hurt her.

He reaches forward with his left hand to open the door, then... pauses.

Can he be certain he'll never hurt her? He knows most of his body wouldn't, but that hand of his... it hasn't been acting right ever since he got it back. He closes his fist and slowly lowers his hand.

No. He'll figure this out. But he can't seek her out yet. Not until he does. He takes a step back, looking up towards the floor where her room is.]

I'll come for you soon, Emma. I swear it.

I think that'd be appropriate. [He smiles. He likes it when Emma calls him Killian. It's nice that the rest of her family is starting to as well.]

Still, it's hard to simply come back from something like that. At least, not without changing.

[Henry feels a little bad now, that he hasn't seen her.]

I haven't talked to her yet. I want to, but...I don't know if she wants to.

[Given the things that have happened though, and the fact that it's better to have more people here from home than not although having Zelena here is debatable, Henry's next words come out without much thought.]

I'm really glad you're back.

You're her grandson. Of course she wants to.

[He gives Henry a grin and reaches forward to ruffle his hair.]

I'm glad to be back too, lad. Since the option for all of us to go home isn't available.

[henrydaniel]

[He smiles a little, though he immediately thinks of his dad not being able to come back again if he leaves. Still, he doesn't want to dwell on sad things.]

Since you're back, we should keep practicing gambling. If you want to. I liked that in Storybrooke even if my moms might not like it.

[Not that he's really told them. Besides, it's not like he'd ever try to take people's money. Probably.]

Of course, lad. It's a valuable skill. [Even if Henry's probably right about his moms not liking it.]

[He realizes he should probably let Hook, or rather, Killian now, go find his mom, and Henry definitely doesn't need details, but. He figures kissing is a go and that's all he needs to know.]

I'll send you a message after you find my mom and kind of...get settled back in. Is that okay?

Aye, I'll respond as soon as I'm able. Getting settled could be... a lengthy process.

[Spoilers he's talking about sex. Sorry about that.....]
