Summary: Lydia is throwing a party to celebrate love in Wonderland
The Story:

Despite the fact that Lydia is throwing a party to celebrate love the decoration of the room is quite subtle. There are some hearts decorating the room, but rather than the overdecoration of a usual valentines party (like at a school dance) Lydia toned it down. She made the party open to everyone, not just couples.

Although she may also have made the party open to everyone to try and bring some new romances in. Whilst Lydia will be enjoying the party her biggest enjoyment will be if she actually manages to do any matchmaking - and successful ones. She'll be scanning the guests throughout the night and making gentle introductions or name dropping to ease people in. At the very least they'll know someone new.

There are a few hanging decoratios0ns of red and white hearts, small and in groups, white seating - tables more in the middle and couches to the side. There's also a buffet and drinks, which Lydia got from the closet - and surprisingly the food isn't shaped in little hearts. The tables are seated for two, with heart shaped candles and red napkins at the plates for those wanting a meal as well as dancing. And of course there's space set out for a dancefloor. Hopefully everyone will enjoy themselves.

( Lydia pulled a blue dress out of her closet for the evening, hair pulled down over her left shoulder in waves. Rather than spending time with any one person in particular she is pulling the jonb of gracious host - mingling with everyone, handing out drinks to empty hands and keeping her eyes out for who she might be able to match up. If she gets one successful pair, which she expects to, it'll have been a success.

When Lydia isn't mingling she has a stool she's pulled up next to the bar, letting her do a little bit of crowd watching. She's hoping couples will make full use of the night to not have to plan their own date - free food, romantic dinner and dancing all in one, and that others will just be enjoying themselves.

It's easy enough to catch Lydia at the bar or while she's mingling, aand she will be full of joy and smiles )
