[Open] Three Things Cannot Be Long Hidden
Who: Kira Yukimura and YOU
Where: The Gardens
When: Wednesday
Rating: PG-13
Summary: Kira lands in Wonderland with a splash
The Story:
Well...this was, ok maybe not the strangest thing that happened to her, that honor went to finding out she was a Kitsune and her mother was actually 900, but it was definitely up there as one of the strangest things that happened to her. One minute she was watching Scott walk away from her, disappointed that he was apologizing for kissing her (even if it wasn't a real kiss) and the next she was free falling and landing with a giant splash in a...fountain?
She sits up quickly and looks around, pushing wet hair out of her face. What the actual hell? This wasn't Beacon Hills High, this wasn't even Beacon Hills, unless someone got a giant garden with a fountain and didn't tell her. Oh and also transported her there?
Okay, no reason to freak out, this happens all the time right? Yeah right, Kira, keep telling yourself that. She pushed herself up and out of the fountain, dripping water onto the ground as she looks around. It's times like this part of her wishes she was a wolf. She could just howl and Scott could come find her and tell her she wasn't crazy, she just accidentally drank wolfsbane laced water or something. This was all a very strange hallucination that was all. If she just stayed here and waited it would wear off. She would still be at school...
The last time she ended up in a garden when it should have been school was with the Nogitsune...
No, they had trapped it. It was in the box and it wasn't coming back. Oh she really hoped it wasn't coming back, that was not something she ever wanted to go through again. Almost having to kill her new friend who happened to be best friends with the guy she liked was not something she wanted to repeat, ever.
Well, she would just sit here for a few minutes and if nothing happened then she would try to figure out what exactly was going on. She was really hoping for wolfsbane hallucinations and not at all expecting what the truth actually was.
[OOC: Feel free to find her anywhere she'll be wandering the grounds before making her way inside.]

He blinks at her for a moment, before shedding his coat and approaching her.
"Um...excuse me." Getting close enough to her, he holds the coat out to her. "Are you okay?"

"Thanks, um, where am I?"
no subject
"Wonderland, if you can believe that."

He looks up again, holding up both hands, open palms upward in a gesture that's simultaneously expansive and helpless. "And we come from all kinds of worlds, too. Like..."
Well, he can't really give a good example, since he has no idea where she's from.
"Like I'm from Tokyo, Japan. It's 2013 where I'm from."

Lydia had a couple of textbooks with her again, one to continue her research into ideas for 'anonymous's' problem and two more on reading up more on magical theory. Lydia had no idea if the books that she'd pulled from the library were at all useful or even correct for any of the residents here but knowledge could be something, and maybe if it wasn't magical theory for a resident here it could be left from a past resident. Mr Gold had theorised that Wonderland adapted itself based on the people that came here, and the worlds. The book could do something more than just be an interesting read.
Lydia has one of the magical theory books open, slowly reading through it but this time - or not yet - is not making any notes. At least Lydia was reading until she heard a splash. Looking up and towards the fountain Lydia frowned, finger still on the page where she'd paused in her reading.
Was it? It certainly looked like it was, but-
"Kira?"
Lydia was a little dumbstruck. She'd seen Kira in Wonderland once before but that had been months ago, and it had been almost as long since anyone from Beacon Hills had arrived in Wonderland - people left more than they came back.

"Lydia? Please tell me you're real and I'm not hallucinating."
no subject
It's said with an entirely serious face before Lydia gives Kira a small smile, closing her book and putting it to the side of her. Kira was real and Kira was here - back in Wonderland. This would actually be the first time that Lydia had had to explain what was happening to someone from home - or anyone. Oh God.
"Are you okay?"
After a fall like that and then getting soaked. Lydia stood from the bench she'd been sat on, books abandoned as she moved across the garden towards the fountain - to Kira. Maybe they could do the hug thing later when she'd dried off a little.

"I'm ok, I think. Uh, so, where are we, and how did I go from school to landing in a fountain in a strange garden? Which is freezing, by the way."

Rufus gave a short little bark and looked up at Teddy, his tail wagging behind him. Teddy had to smile. "Alright boy, we'll go see if she needs some help."
Rufus barked again and pulled on his leash, heading toward Kira. Teddy waved at her, hoping she didn't mind puppies. "Hi. Are you all right?"
no subject
"Umm, no?" She said tucking a wet strand of hair behind her ear. "Do you know where I am?"
no subject
"You must be freezing," he said, immediately unzipping his jacket. He offered it to the girl, a friendly gesture. "The last thing you need waking up in a strange place is to come down with a cold."
no subject
She hesitated, because she was cold, it was apparently winter here and she was wearing a skirt and a t-shirt and not much else. A jacket looked warm, but she didn't know this guy.

"...Are you okay?" He just watched her come out of nowhere, so he's guessing Wonderland's picked up a new resident.

She should probably get out.

He followed it, leading him to the fountain and around the garden. There were signs of a crash landing in the water, as well as puddles around as a result and eventually, he saw her. His heart jumped in his chest as he called her name and rushed to catch up with her.
"Kira!"
Last time he'd seen her, he'd stabbed her. Even if it wasn't entirely him, he still was overly happy to see she was alive.

Then she hears Scott's voice and she whirled around. "Scott!"
She rushed forward as she caught sight of him feeling relief wash over her. Scott wasn't crazy so she couldn't be either. Right?
no subject
"Hey, you okay? Did you just get here?" Of course she did. She wouldn't be hiding from him, unless of course she didn't know he was here. "And... did you fall in the fountain?" That last question seemed a bit amused, but he was trying to hide it.

"Hi, yeah, umm I guess? Where exactly is here? Because there were some people in he garden who said Womderlamd but that's ridiculous right? Did someone slip us Wolfsbane or, is this a really really weird dream?" It couldn't be a dream she knew that, not when she was cold and wet. "I landed I the fountain, from school. You said goodbye and suddenly fountain."

am i too late for some Teen Wolf action???
In any case, making anatomical drawings of birds wasn't any more strange than a girl wandering about in the snow with hair still damp as if from a recent bath.
Occupied in his business, Victor failed to notice her until a glance up from his journal alerted him to a smudge of color standing out against the snow. Upon closer inspection, the smudge resolved itself into a young lady. From an Oriental background, so said her features.
Noting these sorts of things took precedence over greeting her. One of Victor's many bad habits.
Never!
"You know staring really isn't very polite, right? It borders on creepy, even."
sorry, Kira, then you're resigned to the Matt treatment
"Then I won't ask what brought you outdoors in that state," was his reply, outwardly unbothered by the presence of a stranger who mostly likely had an odd or uncanny quality about them like most people did in this place. If given reason to, Victor was more than happy to rise to provocations, but all in all, hers was not worth protesting.
Besides, he couldn't exactly talk when it came to morbidity, could he? He was one of the focal points of one of the nineteenth century's most macabre tales.
