"Why don't you ask him?" Crowley shrugs. It's not his job to justify any of this to Castiel. The fact of the matter is that he's sick of defending himself. They're always backing him into corners and there's only so much energy he can devote to pushing them off. Castiel was the most stubborn of them all, too. He could piss off.
