Open Bar Post for the duration of the event
Who: Anyone!
Where: The temporarily-relocated bar, now in a 1st floor tea room until the fifth floor becomes inhabitable again.
When: The duration of the event
Rating: ???
Summary: With the fifth floor being overrun by Silent Hill shenanigans and weird unfortunate afflictions, the bar staff has temporarily relocated to the first floor until they can return upstairs. Unfortunately, they're still cursed by the unfortunate truth-telling side effects. Drink and Tell at your own risk.
The Story:
The bar has weathered a lot of events in Wonderland, and will no doubt weather a lot more, but between the recent string of murders (Thanks, Dean Winchester) and the current vivid atmosphere on the fifth floor, everyone had agreed that finding somewhere a little less terrifying to get drunk was a requirement until things got sorted and back to normal.
Of course, moving locales doesn't seem to free them from the new geas of truth-telling that's seemed to invade anywhere in the mansion that nourishment is offered. That's not enough for them to close their doors, though. In fact, Simon's all for this, because he thinks it could provide some prettyamusing interesting revelations. And as he is the one most visible in the bar for the next few days, he could use some of that. Jo's still recovering from her attack and he might still be over-protectively fussing just a little.
He's his typical welcoming self to anyone who wanders in for some alcohol, however, always ready with a drink and likely some inappropriate humor. Delve into deep truths at your own risk, however.

"What did he say?"

"Told me to break his fingers to get a rise outta the little missy. I like bein' a pain in the ass as much as the next... pain in the ass, but I got no reason to do him like that. Or her." He shrugs. "Wonderin' if he's not in any kinda trouble. Guy did just kill his brother and all. Said he had it comin', but after that, I have my doubts."
no subject
"But as I'm her new squeeze, I appreciate the fact that you stopped to have doubts and aren't here to break my fingers," he drawls, one corner of his lips quirking upwards.

"I'm already doing that, and trying to keep her out of trouble, but you're right, she's a pistol alright. He's already... I found her, the first day he got back. He'd slammed her into a wall and left her unconscious and bleeding on the floor, nearly choked her to death. I suppose I should be greateful it was 'nearly' but honestly I'd rather bash his head in at the moment."
It's not like Simon to toss violence around so easily. He's usually the more laid-back easygoing sort. But Jo brought out a fierce protective streak in him, one that wasn't altogether reasonable.

"Yeah, I got that. He touches her again, I'll break his sodding neck for you." Well, that wasn't meant to slip out... But he just moved right on along anyway, oblivious. "She doin' okay?"

"Got my vote, mate." He happily took the refill and drank some of it down right off the bat. But as he listens he looks concerned again. "Know a pretty little thing like that too. Hates sittin' back but hates bein' the chosen one. Fickle. She's called the Slayer. But if you make a move, you got my support." Realisation in three, two, "...wait. Hunters? She one of these lot? You too?"
no subject
"But yeah, Jo's one. Or was. She's pretty flexible in her thinking, though. As long as you don't go around mass murdering your way through the mansion, you're good. Course, then you'd have more than just the hunters on your tail. We do have a wide and varied collection of hero-types in this place."
no subject
"Nah, not like that anymore. Thought I was gonna have to put Angelus down, though, with the mass murder and the like. I don't think I'm a hero-type, but I'm not like Angelus either. Got my soul back by choice, not by curse." Hello, his name is Spike, and he just walked right into that verbal trap without a single thought for where it might be leading. "Dunno why I just told you that..." Well, now he's realising something's a little off. It only took him all night.

"Oh, did I forget to mention that part? Wonderland's been a little weird about the dining establishments this week. Apparently it includes the bar in that category. No one can tell a lie in here. Some people end up volunteering more than they anticipated."
