therapize: (worn out but still fighting)

Between the murder Cami had stumbled on so shortly before the start of the event and how so many people have had to relocate themselves during it, it's not hard to imagine why she would want to keep track of the people she knows. Yes, Elijah is an Original vampire, nearly unkillable even in their own world much less one that brings people back from the dead. But neither that nor the fact that he barely knows her at all is reason enough for Cami not to worry. Dean had already known how to take one of their number down before he turned into a demon. She doesn't want him having an even greater advantage than the one his transformation apparently grants.

So in the end, it has her going to the fourth floor to look for him when she can't actually get in touch. Why he would want to stay there is completely beyond her; even a Mikaelson's stubbornness shouldn't be enough to warrant it. Then again, it's not like their family hasn't exceeded Cami's expectations in regards to their pigheadedness before.

And as it turns out, they'll do so again. She hasn't been on the fourth floor long at all, so the pain hasn't set in for her just yet. It's fortunate, given that she sees Elijah faltering down the hall, Cami walking quickly to catch up to him.

"Elijah!" Whether or not it's wise, Cami shows no fear when she goes up to him. "What are you doing up here?"
