Summary: April lied and said she was the person in charge so now Gamora wants to murder her. Rocket will hopefully stop this from happening.
The Story:

[gamora seemed way too serious, actually. april figured, like most people, the threats were kind of fake, not really meant to have follow-through. but gamora...that way she'd stared at her at the end, while inspiring, was also terrifying. so april did the logical thing: she went to hide in the ball pit. it was the perfect place - a closet, a big slide, all the giant balls to hide under. so she dives right on in. fool-proof plan.]

[Rocket growls and drags his hands over his head, before ripping his gun off his back and firing it blindly into the ceiling some feet away, sending a shower of debris a good foot from the ballpit.

He's good at getting people's attention.]

KNOCK IT OFF, YOU CRAZY BROADS.

[When April slides back into the ball pit, it's to Gamora, who reaches out to try and grab her firmly by the throat when she lands in the ball pit. And yes, she will squeeze.]

I will say this once.

[Rocket, she knows you're not going to shoot her. Stop making a mess.]

Bother me again, and I will remove your tongue.

[And from the look in her eyes, it's not an empty threat.]

[oh wow that's terrifying, actually. she nods quickly, preferring not to be maimed today.]

Whatever you say, lady.

[Rocket rolls his eyes and lowers his gun, sighing dramatically.] See? Was that so hard? It's like nobody knows how to use their freakin' words anymore.

[rocket please.]

[Gamora would've used only her words if April hadn't used hers to irritate her so much.

Since the matter is settled, she climbs out of the ball pit with all intentions of leaving before she changes her mind about ending April's life in the ball pit.]
