Strangers in the- wait. Nope. Unofficial Baby Fight Club Opens For Business. Yes.
Who: Sharon & You!
Where: The new sparring facility in rooms 117-119
When: April 4-end of month; specify when in comments - Sharon will try to be there as much as possible.
Rating: I'm keeping it PG. Or PG-13. Don't push it, guys.
Summary: The sparring facility that Sharon's been working on (andtricking getting others to help her on) is now officially open.
The Story:
After a couple weeks of work - and thank you again, Philip, for pointing out that she could have used magic all along, after she did so much of the work - the sparring facilities are ready. It's a fairy simple set up, really, designed not to overwhelm amateurs and give them a place to train where they won't die on exercise equipment if they get thrown too hard.
Four large mats cover the floor; dummies line the back wall. A number of weapons line the wall, mostly knives, swords, and a couple long-range weapons. She's considering adding a garrote or two to mix things up a little more, but this will do for now. A large window looks into the hall; the curtains on the windows are thin enough to reveal if the room is empty or not but thick enough to hide details. She's tried to consider that not everyone has a fighting background, and that not everyone here will be comfortable working out in front of people.
In the end, that's all she can really do. If people want to train, that's up to them. And the few people that she tracks down and forces to train, i.e., Philip and Victor.
