Not that he ever particularly liked being treated his age. But he knows it'll be that much worse when he's rounding on fourteen instead of 13. He didn't really think he'd have a growth spurt before 13, but before 14? He had hopes. Maybe by next summer, he'd be taller. Maybe his voice would finish changing instead of just cracking all the time. Maybe he'd sweat less.

Or maybe he'd be the exact same. If he stays in Wonderland, he knows which option is most likely.
