He nods stiffly, allowing Dipper to lean on logic as much as he needs to feel comfortable. He's certainly not wrong-- a dam is probably the best analogy there is in this situation, and it's part of why Angel had been so cautious when considering how he himself would handle the event and the opportunity it offered.

He's silent for a moment longer before he finally asks:

"Are you okay?"
