( open ) Attempt to Remove an Infinity Stone from Jane - Take 1
Who: Darcy and Jane for sure - calling all other science types/ppl interested in Infinity Stones
Where: The Basement
When: Evening of 4/6
Rating: PGish - possible talks of death?
Summary: Trying to remove the thing that could possibly kill Jane one day from her even though it hasn't yet a la Wonderland magic.
The Story: Darcy had sent out texts to a few people, but really she'd left any other forms of help up to Jane. One thing was clear, she needed to help find a way to get the Aether out of Jane so that she could actually do normal things again. Not have the destructive bubble of doom around her and kinda do that red thing every once in awhile. Yes, there were workarounds for the whole death by touch or violently being thrown if walking too close in the hallway, but that was easier said than done when it came to something she still didn't really understand.
But, she does her part while waiting for others to arrive and be more scientific in their findings. She's just gonna stand on a table with a doohickey that dings aka one of Jane's pieces of technology................. And a bag of glitter. If they can't get it out, she might as well see if there's anything they can stick to the outside that might not obstruct Jane's view too much. Glitter was the first thing to try, but she definitely had a few other things in her back pocket because reasons. If things got serious and they weren't getting ahead on getting the Aether out, she was more than ready to take the party outside and break out the paint. Although, she's optimistic about the glitter. Don't worry, she promises to sweep up the left over craft herpes - at least what she can find.
"Hold still, it's not doing the right beeping thing and --" She's just gonna give it a little thwap on her hip --"Oh, there we go."

"Well, we should probably move out away from the mansion. We need a reaction, and since glitter isn't doing it I have a very bad plan that you're maybe not going to like." Jane's lips form a straight line -- and when she's anticipating Darcy balking at a plan, you know it's gotta be bad.

Oh god. "Jane... You know when you say it's a thing I'm not going to like it's serious." She's not saying no, she'd just like some more deets plz. "What's churning in that crafty mind of yours? Do I need to bring a fire extinguisher or something?"

"In gym class. I was more of an ultimate frisbee kind of girl myself." She says it as she moves off to the side to grab the handy dandy fire extinguisher and a few water bottles. Once everything but the extinguisher is tucked in her bag, she gives a smile and nods towards the door. "Alright, let's go play ball."
