She hadn't asked to be the one to step up, but it was hard not to when she'd felt an obligation to try and keep as much of the drama at bay as possible. She hasn't really slept much, hadn't done much outside of worrying and trying to keep everything running as smoothly as possible. She was sure it was showing, not that she'd paid much attention to it.

There's a lift of an eyebrow at the sight, pausing in her attempts to wipe down an already clean counter. "Well, this is a surprise. Hi..." A beat. "Y'know, Steve and the others usually keep my training hand to hand."
