[ When Jeff showed up a few hours ago he thought maybe he was dreaming. No, scratch that, he definitely though he was dreaming, but when the day kept going and he kept not waking up he had to deal with the fact that he's like, stuck here. In Wonderland, or whatever. It's not an easy pill to swallow.
He's been hanging back mostly, trying to get a read on the situation before actually approaching anyone, but it's late now and he's tired and damn, he wants a drink. There's a guy with a cigarette in his hand, who looks sort of like the town drunk, and Jeff can't think of a better place to get booze. It's not like he's going to walk up to the big creepy house to get some. No thanks.
So, he pulls up another wicker chair and plops down loudly into it, crossing his feet at the ankles and looking out over the water. ]
