Summary: Could it be that you (GASP!) don't want to be here? Do you maybe want to make like a tree and... leaf? Then how about you do the next best thing, and come to the woods to party! The Story:

Beginning on September 7th, colourful ribbons will hang from several trees by the forest. Whoever follows their path will be guided deeper, right to the scene of a forest party.

Wooden benches, swings in all shapes and sizes, tree trunks, and other arrangements give plenty of opportunities to sit together. Tree houses and tents provide shelter, and come nightfall the festivities will light up for you.

Campfires provide additional light and warmth and a great place for ghost stories. Camping coolers store more than smores, and all around you nature twists and turns to give you room to dance to the music, to wander in the quiet, and to simply have a good time!

(...Are you the curiously perceptive, or the perceptively curious sort? If so, then you might also notice the small bird sitting on a branch nearby.)

[She makes sure to give him a high-five when he gets up, retracting the rope bridge and lazily falling down on one of the nearby chairs. God, it really is him. This is so weird.]

Obviously. Not every day you end up in a magical forest with unlimited food and cool treehouses. Gotta make the most of it.

[She's... she's gotta ask, though.]

So, like... what happened to you?

That's a big question. [He settles down in one of the chairs, looking around. He can remember so many afternoons just like this--well, except for the being in a literal fairytale part--when he was 12 and thought Wendy was the coolest person ever. He's not sure he was wrong even now, after joining a group of actual superhero knights.]

I grew up. About as far from Gravity Falls as it's possible to get.

So, a place like this? Another world?

[That's... people can just disappear, like that? Sure, Gravity Falls has always been weird, and sure, she's seen more of it than ever after starting work in the Mystery Shack and meeting Dipper and Mabel, and... sure, I guess, Ford was in other worlds for years and years and aging. But does this mean, after this summer, she never sees him again? He just... disappears?]

You just... leave?

Not on purpose. [He glances away, out at the surrounding woods.]

Apparently it doesn't always go the way it went for us. In... alternate universes or whatever. But we discovered the portal Stan was building. We almost got it turned off, but...

[Mabel trusted Stan. Dipper doesn't blame her. Knowing what he knows about the Veil, he's not sure that Stan's portal was even actually the cause. He can't help but wonder what would have happened if she'd pressed that button.]

Anyway. Turns out getting home from there is, so far, impossible. But at least we've stayed together through all of it. And we did just join a secret organization of basically superhero knights. So that part's cool.

So... there's different worlds. Not just like, where Ford was, but different versions of Gravity Falls?

[So in hers, they were fine, and Ford came through, but... in theirs, they never saw her again. That Wendy walked away from the SWAT team on the house and everyone disappeared. She didn't even know. She couldn't do anything. The thought sits uncomfortably at the pit of her stomach, and she swallows, hard.]

I mean, the superhero knights thing is cool, at least. And you have Mabel with you.

I guess. There's no Gravity Falls in the world we ended up in, though. There were... a lot of other differences.

[None of the media was quite the same, for one.]

Yeah, in some ways we were lucky, I guess. I don't know if I'd have made it on my own.

Jeez. So Gravity Falls doesn't even exist everywhere? That's even creepier. To think you don't even, like, exist everywhere.

[This is getting weird. And heavy, gosh.]
