Not really. I mean, Chara, they're my sibling, they came first in the Sorting. And I just kinda followed.

[They shrug easily, as if there's nothing more to the story than that. As if the Hat didn't tease them with promises of Hufflepuff-like loyalty, Gryffindor-like grit. But they knew who they were. They had the tenacity and determination and resourcefulness to be a snake, through and through.]

Our parents are both Hufflepuffs, though. So I guess that was a surprise for them!
