Yeah, it definitely wouldn't be as full as it is if it was some crotchety old wizard talking to a scroll or the wall.

[ As for picturing him while she's studying... ] Not sure who much studying I'd actually get done if he was standing in front of me - even if it's just in my imagination. [ She has a pretty vivid imagination, okay. ] I'm just gonna have to get creative with how I remember things.

... I just don't know what that creative thing is yet. Maybe a song?

[ Oh, crap. Darcy doesn't look happy. Darcy is one of the most popular in Hogwarts. If Darcy isn't happy, ain't nobody happy.

But Darcy continues talking to her, which has to be a good sign, and she mentally kicks herself and resolves not to be weird from here on out. Or at least not until they stop talking. And Darcy isn't in the room to see her do anything weird.

She doesn't know how well she does is; as soon as Darcy says she'll talk to them both, her eyes widen, and she leans forward. ]

I can handle it. [ She tries to sound demure. Mature. Adult. She can handle it. Yeah. Yep. Sure. ]

[he asks conversationally, digging around in his satchel for something. Nate's own notes and personal experience are much more reliable than their Ancient Runes textbook, which he has conveniently left behind for today's lesson. Darcy's rambling comes second fiddle to the real, questionable meat of their talk.]

Was it the fourth floor set? Because I always end up missing them when they change and have to scale the wall just to make it to class.
