So lets play doctor babe
Who: Mikan Tsumiki & You!
Where: Neverland - specifically, the healing spring near Dead Man's Peak.
When: Throughout the event.
Rating: PG for now, will update if needed.
Summary: Mikan has become a Lost One, and self appointed guardian of the spring. And if you don't need it now, you may by the time she's done with you.
The Story:
Mikan's life has never been a bed of roses, and anyone can pick up on that within minutes of meeting her. But it's never been clear just how full of thorns her life has been, especially her childhood. So becoming a Lost One was an opportunity she jumped at, and now she was here where no one could ever hurt her again. She wouldn't let them. No, from now on, she would decide who gets healed and who suffers.
She still got bossed around and bullied occasionally from other Lost Ones, stronger ones, but she let it slide. After all, they were her friends, real friends who would make sure she never left Neverland. And she'd make sure they never left either. She loved everyone here so much. There were days she wished they all got poisoned so they all needed her help - and perhaps she had tried to actually do it, once or twice.
At this moment as you head towards Dead Man's Peak or the spring, you can spot Mikan drawing in the dirt with a stick. She's drawing her dear friends who she cares about so very much. Just ignore those poison-tipped spears laying a few feet away from her. Neverland doesn't have needles, after all.

He's just feeling a bit woozy today and is approaching the spring slowly. This place has become more dangerous than usual. Adults keep showing up. But at least Mikan is here, and she at least can fight. Not like Sans.
He puts on a tentative smile when he sees her.
"hi, mikan. how you doing?"
no subject
It's Sans! She likes Sans, because he is very nice and he needs her help. Her drawing is immediately forgotten as she wobbles to her feet.
"You're here for the sp-spring!" She says as if this is brand new information, or just happy to repeat it. "I was so w-worried you might be one of those grown-ups... I've been hearing rumors..."
She delicately takes his arm and begins leading him to the spring.
no subject
"heh, nah, just me. yeah, there's grown-ups everywhere...i saw some around here the other day. it's kinda crazy, right?"
She lets her take his arm and lead him away. He trusts her, for the most part. The good thing about Neverland is that, for all that Lost Ones can be unspeakably cruel, no one here really has the time, patience or energy to try and lure you into a false sense of security before killing you. And Mikan is the straightforward type...usually. He thinks. Maybe.

But as they near the spring, Mikan eyes Sans as he speaks, eyes widening upon hearing that the rumors were true. "So there really are grown-ups here...well, they don't know anything about N-Neverland...So they'll probably get hurt a lot."
"Heeheeheeheehee... I guess I-I'll just have to take care of them, if they're g-good..."
no subject
But there's that creepiness from her that he was expecting. He smiles faintly.
"y-yeah. bet you'd take care of 'em real good, huh? heh. but yeah. they never shoulda come here. neverland's gonna eat them right up."
They might be adults, huge and scary, but a lot of these Lost Ones are just as terrifying. The island itself is terrifying. And the adults won't have any time to get used to any of the dangers here.

And all the implications that it carried. Thankfully the spring wasn't too far away, and she eased her grip on him as they approached. "Here you go, S-Sans. Now remember... take your time, and let it work for you. Be as l-lazy as you want."
no subject
He's not a violent person by any stretch, but if a whole lot of adults happen to die while he's not around, then...well, that kind of helps everyone, doesn't it?
His grin widens quiet a bit at her words.
"hee hee. i always love hearing you say that."
She's the only one who says it, after all. She's the only one who lets him be lazy.
He crouches down near the edge of the water and pulls a shell out of his pocket that he can use to scoop up water.
no subject
So instead she takes a few steps back, patiently watching him. "Patients s-shouldn't rush their recovery... Sometimes being lazy is the healthiest thing you can do."
no subject
"heh. i think you're right. i always feel better when i'm not moving too much."
He takes another sip.
"but i think we might be the only two people here who think so."
no subject
And he always needs to come back. He'll always need her.

Weakness is a sin in Neverland. Weak people are left alive for Pan's amusement, or so Sans has always assumed.
"you're nice too, though."
no subject
"I t-try... I just do what I like to do...and I just happen to like taking care of people."
no subject
"you're really good at it, too. um. both kinds of taking care of, i mean, but especially the first kind."
She's always looked after him and all the others, regardless of how weak they are. Even if...he's heard stories that she sometimes pushes people into the spring, or hurts them just to fix them up.
She wouldn't do that to him. She'd kill him, even if she didn't really mean to.
"thanks, mikan."
no subject
"I guess... th-that's all you need."
no subject
He sees the look on her face. Ah. Right. This is why she can be dangerous, even to other Lost Ones.
"i guess, but um...if you want, i could stay and we could hang out for a bit. i'm not doin' anything important today, so."

She can watch his back if nothing else. But she's also usually pretty good to talk to, just in general.

"you're right. um, about how they don't know anything, b-but, heh, i don't think i know more than people...i'm not that smart."
Not smart in the real way at least. Not smart about building traps or using weapons or creating defenses. Not smart about creating things or finding food. Nothing useful. Just numbers. Some hazy knowledge about chemicals or scientific principles. Not important.
no subject
"I think y-you're very smart, Sans! Way smarter than me, about some things." She nods once, affirmative. He's not smarter about her when it comes to injuries and the spring. No one is. "I know who I can go to i-if I need answers."
no subject
He shakes his head to clear it.
"heh, well. thank you. but you're really smart too. you know so much about helping people."
And honestly, most people here don't. Sans certainly doesn't. If he had a bit more magic, he might be able to use healing magic, but he doesn't. He's pretty sure he wouldn't be good at it, anyway. But the point is, not very many people here know about first aid and such. They usually just send people to the spring when they get hurt, which isn't really a solution.
