[OPEN BACKDATED INTRO] "Different roads sometimes lead to the same castle."

Who: Jon Snow ([personal profile] strongheld) & YOU!
Where: Everywhere.
When: 12/12 MORNING
Rating: PG/PG-13
Summary: Jon Snow learns some things, but is still highly perplexed by his arrival at this poorly-fortified estate.
The Story:

[ 'Wonderland.' What a laughable name. Was it meant to be a Land of Wonders? It isn't a dream, however, of that Jon can be absolutely certain. He would know a dream from the real world, and only a fool would dismiss the seemingly impossible as a dream without trying to understand it first.

Jon's encounter with Cullen Rutherford was eye-opening, no doubt. Left to ponder everything he'd been told, Jon decided to try the man's advice and first find an empty room, then one of the storage rooms--the closet--within it. After summoning various items from its depths, Jon decided he'd had enough of that sorcery. He could clearly now take Cullen's words as the truth until anything else should prove otherwise, and with that, he felt inclined to remove his cloak and sword and explore the halls once more.

At dawn he left his room (safely locked) and after only one lingering glance at it, hoping it wouldn't swallow his sword into nothing, he went on his way.

Jon returned to the entrance hall and eventually found his way to many small meeting rooms with small tables and comfortable looking chairs; rooms holding musical instruments he recognized but most unfamiliar; what looked like a kitchen, holding a larder that chilled his face when he opened its doors; a large bath that seemed too public (and smelled too strangely) to actually be a bath; from the attic to the basement floors; and finally a library the likes of which he'd never seen.

Due to the wandering nature of the mansion's impossible halls, and Jon's caution, it took him a few hours to explore to his liking.

By the time he even remotely felt satisfied, his stomach was growling and he was forced to retreat to the kitchen in the hopes of finding something of good sustenance in that chilly larder from before.]
