Rabbit walking

Summary: Adorable robots walking adorable rabbits
The Story:
Shepard-Commander had gifted them with a rabbit walking leash and harness. This was not anticipated.
It is several days before they decide to attempt to use it, but eventually you might find that when you see them out and about, they're accompanied by a small, brown, lop eared bunny. These occurrences become increasingly frequent as the month goes on.
Perhaps you spot them reading in the library, or strolling through the gardens. Maybe they're people watching, or going to visit a friend. Regardless of what they're doing, their rabbit is with them. How cute. Perhaps you'd like to say hi?

This couldn't be real, could it? But it was THERE. It was SPEAKING. And it had a rabbit for some reason, but that's a bit of a moot point right now. All of his attention was focused on this otherworldly thing and how to deal with it...
At the moment, all he could do was stare in shock.

They are a Geth. Many organics in their home universe were frightened of them. Here, however, a majority of the populace is accustomed to unfamiliar species.
It is, they decide, likely that he is new.
Their head tilts to the side slightly as they watch him.

It moves, slightly, and remains silent. Did he hallucinate hearing the voice? Is it just a machine? It sounded so real, so... Mechanical.
He continues to stare for a good five minutes, not sure how to proceed.

Finally, they decide to make another attempt at interaction.
"You are new to this location?" Their head tilts to the other side, less slightly this time. They chatter a bit.

"Yes?!" He spat, hastily scurrying away from the machine like a frightened mouse. "No?! WHY ARE YOU SPEAKING TO ME?!?"
He is, in fact, new to this location. Otherwise, he'd be used to the robots.

"We apologize. It was not our intent to frighten you." They lift their hands slightly in a placating gesture.
...The rabbit, on the other hand, though initially startled, calms down relatively quickly. It's almost eerie how unflappable the tiny creature is.
