She's not looking to see them approach, so the noise catches her off-guard, and she jumps, looking up almost fearfully until she lays eyes on them. She knows them. Or, she might. The Commander certainly does, which is where she's pulling their name. Legion. Part of her can't imagine there's ever going to be this kind of advancement- a fully functional robot, a real artificial intelligence. Something that couldn't be controlled through mental manipulation and puppetry.
