She would make sure they were both happy, even if she had to start playing interference between them until things calmed down. Until they remembered how to function. "We don't dwell on the past, we learn from it. So learn, Lenny." Her tone wasn't harsh, but it was strong. And when she looked up at him to hopefully meet his eyes, her blue gaze was equally adamant.
