Who: The Dangan Five
Where: The dining room!

Rating: PG-13ish? Will update if needed, although it's a bunch of Dangan Ronpa characters, so there will likely be some talk about death.
Summary: Five students of Hope's Peak Academy have ended up in Wonderland, and it's time for them to all meet up in person.
The Story: After sitting on the idea for a while, Ishimaru invited the other Hope's Peak students to join him for breakfast. It would be good for all of the students to get to know each other better and discuss the mysteries of this world together! Through this teamwork, they could be better equipped for dealing with future danger in general! So Ishimaru asked them all to come down to meet him for breakfast at 8AM sharp....

[Ishimaru has selected his usual breakfast - miso soup and pickled vegetables - and it lays near him on the table while he focuses on the meeting.

At exactly 8AM, he springs to life and addresses whoever's present:]

Good morning, everyone! Have you been well? Thank you for attending this meeting! We may have all met each other, either here or at home, but it is important that we can come together as a team against threats! It is also important to remember that breakfast is the most important meal of the day!

[He was smiling at first, but now he turns more stern.]

Now, what better place to start than with the noble practice of taking attendance? [Right after he says that, his hand shoots up, and he shouts as if answering a teacher in class.] Kiyotaka Ishimaru! Here!! I am the Super High School Level Public Morals Committee member!

[He looks towards someone else at the table, expecting that person to go next.]

[ 8 AM was a bit early, even for her, but Chiaki also knew the importance of this whole meeting and working together with everyone in general. It had gotten them through Monokuma's gauntlet on the island, and they didn't even have that handicap here.

Besides, it would be kind of nice to make friends outside of her class who understand things. As kind as other people in Wonderland had been, anyway.

So around 7:55 AM, Chiaki wanders into the dining room, giving a nod over to whoever's present before having a seat, pulling a small DS out of her pocket and tapping away at it while she waits for everyone else to arrive. It's only when Ishimaru speaks that she pauses her game, glancing up and listening quietly. She tilts her head to one side, letting out a soft hum to herself.

Time to break the ice. ]

Um. Chiaki Nanami . . . I'm here, too. I'm the Super High School Level Gamer, from the 77th class.

[It didn't come as a surprise to her when Ishimaru arranged this meeting. In fact, she was almost waiting for him to do something like this, considering all the cafeteria meetings they had back when they were trapped at the school. Besides, she definitely wasn't opposed to this meeting. She actually thought it was a great idea to gather all of the Hope's Peak students together. Especially after she learned that there were at least two different killing games. So, any little bit of information would be of help and it felt nice to be able to talk to people from the same world.

While things were still confusing in this strange place, at least there was no sign of Monokuma in Wonderland.

It was around 7:50 when Sayaka makes it to the dining hall, with a plate filled with homemade french toast and scrambled eggs. She greets everyone with a smile and wave before sitting down. When the introductions start, she listens intently to Ishimaru and after Chiaki introduces herself, Sayaka decides to take the stand next.]

Hello! Sayaka Maizono, present and I'm the Super High School Level Idol. I'm part of the 78th class. Um... I can't stress enough how much of a relief it is to have all of you here.

[Normally Ryoko would forget to be here, and way later someone would bring it up and she'd go “there was a meeting?” But in this case, she put up reminder after reminder after reminder to the point where her room looked like the aftermath of some sort of post it note explosion.. A little excessive, sure, but she didn't want to miss it.

So here she is, new notebook in tow, and she'd be ready to take notes, but instead she's pulling a few post it notes out of it first. Yeah, she definitely went overboard.]

I'm Ryoko Otonashi, the Super High School Level Analyst. I'm not sure what class I'm from because I can't remember.

[And now she's ready to take notes, so here we go. Time to write down a ton of stuff she'll forget writing down afterwards! But the important part is it'll be in there if she needs it later.]

[Mikan is here as well, though a part of her is still in disbelief. She spent almost a whole year here by herself, but now in the course of a few short months, she has four other schoolmates, including one from her own class! It's been a sad relief - or a happy curse? It's hard to tell in Wonderland.

With everyone else done, she nervously fidgets, getting up and properly bowing.]

Um... I-I-I'm Mikan Tsumiki! I'm the Super High School Level Nurse, from the 77th class. I'm in the same class as Nanami. From the bottom of my heart, I sincerely hope we can all get along and help each other!

[Ishimaru quickly does his own formal now as well.]

Excuse my manners! I should add that, like Maizono-kun, I am from the 78th Class! I am pleased to have you all here with me. If we all strive to work hard together, then there is no limit to what we can accomplish! Especially without Monokuma here to get in our way!

[He tried to bring that up lightheartedly ]

Before we continue, are there any other issues or observations that anyone would wish to raise?

[ Chiaki settles back into her seat quickly after introducing herself, glancing around from one to another as they all take turns doing the same — giving Mikan a small, encouraging smile when she takes her turn. Her eyes slowly shift back towards Ishimaru and she frowns briefly when she mentions the big black-and-white elephant in the room.

She picks at her toast quietly, waiting a moment before speaking. ]

Um . . . well, first of all — is everyone okay after that last event? Does anyone need anything . . .

[ She'd been fine, having played her fair share of water levels in her lifetime, but she'd also seen how other people had fared. ]

[She has so many questions! An event? Monokuma? What are these things? But thankfully, she flips through her notebook first, so she's got an okay idea of those things now. The meeting can probably proceed without her asking everyone to over everything again.]

I don't remember the event, but I didn't write anything about not being okay, so I think I'm fine.

[That's...not how it works, but she's not going to dwell on it anymore than that, so there you go.]

Were the rest of you okay?

[While Sayaka's taking a few nibbles out of her french toast, her eyes glance around the room as she's listening to each one of them speak.]

Yeah, I'm fine, thank you for asking! I think I just barely survived? [She pauses, trailing off for a brief moment.] Time felt really strange throughout the event, so my memory is still hazy about a lot of the details because it almost felt like we were... repeating the same thing? Like we were stuck in a timeloop or something.

[A frown forms on her lips. Just thinking about this event was giving her headache because she wasn't even sure what happened. And she thought the event at the desert was terrible, this almost felt more scarier.]

I hope the rest of you are all okay.

[Mikan died. but she ABSOLUTELY DOES NOT WANT TO SAY THIS. Why make them needlessly worry over something that can't be helped now? She doesn't touch her food.]

I-I had that too, the repeating! But all events end, that's the one thing we can count on.

[There, that's the truth. technically.]

Everything here is kind of like a waiting game. No matter how bad it gets, we'll all be back together again.

An excellent suggestion, Nanami-kun! [Ishimaru points at her with energy.] That is a very important topic to cover, and I am glad that you were all well throughout that trying time!

[Or at least, so it seems.]

I managed to do well enough to survive by myself! But, I worried for the rest of you on other floors of the building... Now I can feel relieved instead!

[He then settles down into his seat and starts to pick at his food.]

Those odd disturbances in time were certainly unusual, however. It was unlike anything I have ever experienced! This place truly does make the impossible possible, and constantly!

[ Well, everyone said they were alright and she didn't have any reason to doubt them, so. She gives the group a bit of a smile in turn, nodding once. ]

Okay. That's good. 'Cause . . . that seemed pretty rough, didn't it? I wasn't sure what was going on with the rest of you. I only know where Maizono-san is staying, actually . . .

[ But that's all a bit of a downer, isn't it? She falls quiet at that, chewing at her toast thoughtfully instead. ]

I'm in room four on the second floor. And I know Tsumiki-san has a clinic on the first floor.

[That's all she can find in her notebook anyway.]

Um, actually if you all don't mind, I could add what rooms you're in to my notebook? That way when I forget, I can still find my friends.

[Otherwise, she'll have to check every floor, and then forget what she's doing and check every floor and this just goes around in a while until she forgets to check in the first place.]

I think that's a wonderful idea, Otonashi-san! I only know Nanami-san's room number but I'd also like to know everyone's room numbers as well. It will be another easy way to get in contact with each other in case a strange event like that happens again.

[Plus, a certain holiday was approaching and she had plans for that said holiday for her fellow Hope's peak students.

Suddenly, Sayaka grabs a nearby pen and napkin and starts jotting down Ryoko's room number.]

I'm staying on the sixth floor in room 40.

I w-wouldn't say the clinic is mine, it belongs to everyone! There are other doctors here, sometimes, but, um... I do live right next to it.

First floor, room two. You're all welcome to come in at any time even if I'm not there! Just please don't take anything important.

[She'd like to keep some medical supplies. And her journals. And her cosplay from Halloween. etc.]

I should apologize. It was remiss of me not to share my room number earlier! I am on the thirty-first room of the eighth floor. It happens to match my birthday!

I swear to commit all your room numbers to memory. Ah... but I would certainly never take any of your prized possessions, Tsumiki-kun! In fact, it would be improper to enter your room without you!

I'm on the sixth floor, too. Room 53, I think . . . something like that, anyway.

[ She knows what the door looks like when she passes by, and that's really what matters at the end of the day. ]

Seems like we're all over the place here. Though, um, that's kind of familiar, in a way . . . I hear there's even a diner here, too.

[ She taps at her cheek idly in consideration. Any attempts at exploring had been thoroughly sidelined by the event and then settling back in. ]

Don't worry, there's no way I'd steal anything.

[She has no idea why anyone would want doctor stuff unless they're a doctor.

And she'll just make a quick note of where everyone lives just in case. There we go.]

And, I think you're right. There is a diner! But I've never been there. Or if I have, I forgot. Actually, it's kind of like the Academy according to my notes, except with everything in one building instead of a few.

[With a satisfied nod, Sayaka jots down everyone's room numbers and puts it in her pocket so that way she didn't accidentally throw away the napkin.]

I haven't been to the diner yet, but I've heard good things about it! Come to think of it, Otonashi-san has a point. This place does remind me of the Academy. I haven't had the chance to fully explore everything because of how huge this place is and all those weird events that keep happening.

[One difference between Wonderland and Hope's peak is that... you can actually go outside. But Sayaka decided to save that thought for later on.]

I heard that you can even take any of the empty rooms and make them into a buisness? Nanami-san and I talked about starting up a gaming room.

Th-there's a diner and a kitchen. You don't really have to make anything, though. You just have to think about it, and it appears... Just like the closets.

But one way you can tell an event is happening is when the closets don't work, or you only get certain things. So you can't always rely on them.

[... But that last bit, hold on-]

A... gaming room?

Yeah. 'Cause I can get a lot of stuff from the closets and do a set up in my own room, but . . . games are more fun when they're shared with people. And I was telling Maizono-san about a lot of the rhythm games that are out there, but you need a bigger space for dance pads anyway. So we were thinking of putting together a game room, a place that everyone could share. Like, um, our own arcade — only there's no tokens or anything.

This place is certainly full of conveniences, as unbelievable as they may be! [He says with a soft laugh.] I have been to the diner myself. It is worthwhile!

But.. a gaming room, you say? [He pauses for a moment, contemplating the concept uncertainly.] Hm... You have taught me about the value of some video games... So with that said, I would consider that to be a worthwhile endeavor! I would surely try it out whenever it comes to be!

A gaming room sounds fun! I'd definitely check it out if we get one!

[Actually, give her a second to write down that there might be one at some point someday.]

This way I don't forget!

This is really exciting! It makes me feel like we are a class when we have discussions like this.

[Hearing the enthusiasm for the gaming room was making Sayaka beam with excitement. It made her feel even more ecstatic to help Chiaki put together a gaming room that everyone would enjoy.]

I've never played video games before. So, I'm quite excited to try them out! Especially the rhythm ones. Nanami-san, I think you are going to have to teach me the controls because I'm going to be a bit lost.

I-I've never really played them either. If it's okay with Nanami-san, I... I would like to learn too.

[A real class... is that what this is? It feels so nice, while making her miss other people from her class.]

[Ishimaru claps his hands together joyously and smiles as he turns to face Nanami.]

Our opinions would seem to be unanimous! We would all like to learn the ways of video games from you, Nanami-kun! I will look forward to that endeavor!

[He nods before moving on to the next point that pleases him.]

Maizono-kun also put it well! This has been like a very smooth and splendid class discussion. [And without sentencing anyone to death.] I would dare to say that we are off to a good start here. Let us all keep up the good work!

Then, um, Maizono-san and I will get to work on that, and I'll let you guys know when we're ready.

[ And despite herself, a small smile begins to cross her face. This — this is what a class should be like, not a jumbled mess like the island had been. ]

But . . . yeah. I agree. I think it's nice, that we're all able to work together like this . . .

I think so too! I don't remember what I expected this meeting to be like, but I'm glad everyone's getting along and things are going well.

[She's pretty happy about things too. It's nice having friends like this.]

[A smile begins to develop on her face as well!]

I was here for a long time, all by myself. I missed my classmates... and I wished I could see them again, even though this place can be so horrible. But maybe... it won't be so horrible, now that all of you are here.

Tsumiki-san...

[She couldn't imagine how Mikan must have felt. Being stuck here all by yourself, with no one that you know. It was luck that she got to be here with not only her classmate; Ishimaru but also people from the same universe.

While she wasn't exactly thrilled to be here... it was still better than the killing game and she met plenty of nice people.]

I feel the same way. Even if this place might have some scary events, I feel secure with all of you here. I guess in it's own way, it's a blessing that we were able to gather here and meet each other.

Maizono-kun is right! [Ishimaru chimes in affirmatively.] We can find security in our numbers, and we are already making great strides in improving our teamwork!

Hopefully, we will be able to tackle future hardships much more effectively. I am honored to be able to grant your wishes, Tsumiki-kun! From now on, all will be well!

Mm, that's right.

[ She nods from where she's sitting. ]

Whatever Wonderland tries to throw at us — we'll get through it together, alright?

We will! Because that's what classmates do. ..I think. I don't remember. But I'm pretty sure.

[She's confident. They've definitely got this. Up until an event says otherwise anyways.]

[Everyone's positivity in this was infectious. It really did make her feel like she didn't have to worry too much for any future events. In the short amount of time they knew each other, they actually felt like a functioning class compared to the mess back home.]

Well said everyone! We have each other's backs and together we'll definitely persevere through everything. Like a class.
