( OPEN ) ; and now you're scared of what'll happen if you lose yourself

Who: Wanda Maximoff + anyone!
Where: The roof
When: March 19th
Rating: This is pretty chill to start, honestly. (If anything actually manages to step into the 'beyond PG-13' territory, I will update as such.)
Summary: Wanda is hanging out, writing down some thoughts, and isn't opposed to company.
The Story:

Anyone who wanders up to the roof will find a quite comfortable looking Wanda. She's brought a blanket up here with her, a large mug of hot tea, a journal and pen, with her. The blanket is large enough to both be wrapped around her shoulders and also allow her to sit on top of part of it; her knees are drawn up closer to her so that she can rest the journal on her knees as she writes in it.

She'd gotten into the habit of keeping a journal back home, and she found it helped her here as well. It puts all of her own thoughts and feelings out in one place that's just hers, from a mind that can pick up those things from the minds of others and makes her head a very busy place.

She'll stop to take a sip of her tea, or maybe just to look off into the distance for a moment while she thinks before beginning to write again. If she senses someone else up here, she'll turn her head to look over at them and probably offer them a small smile and a quick greeting. Or if someone comes up here and addresses her first before she can address them, she'll respond.

Instead of coming to the roof the normal way, Nageki flies onto it.

He is a quiet bird (a mourning dove, specifically) who, in his own version of Earth, would be easy to overlook. A large part of it is that he is a ghost. The only outward sign of it is that Nageki's plumage is meant for summer rather than winter and most people would only notice his unusually large size, though Wanda's abilities may let her know what Nageki is.

"Hello," he responds to her greeting and nods at her journal. "Are you working on something?"

"I see." Nageki has never known anyone who kept a journal. Honestly, he'd never given it much thought when it showed up in the books he reads, either.

"I'm Nageki. It's nice to meet you."

"I'm not sure that would be possible. New people keep arriving." He's coming upon his second year in Wonderland and still hasn't met nearly everyone. Of course, Nageki isn't one to go out of his way to meet people either.

Neil's been talking abut the roof long enough that he finally got tired of hearing it and gave it a chance. A vantage point doesn't make much of a difference to the scenery, not unless there's something worth aiming at or casing. The last thing he's expecting is to find a girl here keeping a diary.

Years of staying quiet, knowing he'll be in pursuit of something with much keener senses than he had wasn't without its benefits. Dean watches her for a little while torn between wanting to say something and wanting some of whatever his pal's been smoking. All it is up here is cold and boring.

"Doesn't anybody around here miss television?"

"When things aren't ape-shit, sure. There's only so many ways to kill time." Since sex was an issue because Dean couldn't exactly bail out on anyone here he was forced to actually communicate at the bar and over the network which wasn't his style to begin with.

"I'm starting to think normal doesn't even register when it comes to the selection process." No one he's met so far made him think twice about there being a standard for whoever's responsible for the kidnapping. You had to have a decent threshold to survive this place. "How long have you been here?" Not here as in on the roof, but here in general.

"I don't think status matters when you're here one day and gone the next." Nothing could be counted on, and experience could get washed. So, living life a day at a time here still kept you in the know and that's all that mattered. There's no point in putting a label on it. "A couple months. Long enough to be tired of it."

Maybe there's some truth to the whole roof time deal Nathan preached about. The breeze is soothing and it's quiet enough that he doesn't feel confined anymore like he does just about anywhere else.

"Yeah, I got that much, but I still don't think anybody really knows." There wasn't any way to tell what was real, and without patterns to follow or lore to look up he was at a loss. If Evelyn couldn't figure it out, he was positive nobody else could either. Usually, the things responsible played their hands- not this time. "I'm Dean."

The manor, despite the unlikely and even impossible size of the inside of it, always feels a little... claustrophobic. It's mostly psychological, he knows, because he can't get out of here and what good is a Loki who can't escape, but even so he finds the roof a little easier to bear sometimes.

Besides, he's always liked knowing the lay of the land. It makes him feel a little more like he's doing something useful if he's up here- even if he's really not.

Meeting someone else up here wasn't the agenda, but Loki's been sulking skulking long enough that he supposes he really should acquaint himself with other residents- if he can.

"I didn't realise anyone was up here. Come here often?"

The roof isn't a place Kurt tends to venture to often, but on nights when sleep tends to elude him, he just wants to get some fresh air. He'll walk around the grounds sometimes, but the idea of being just a little closer to the stars tonight is comforting, somehow. For some reason, even knowing how many people are here, he's not expecting anyone else to be up there.

When she smiles at him, Kurt gives her a friendly nod in return. "You don't mind? I won't get in the way up here."

"Yeah. Good thing for us, I guess," he smiles a little, getting comfortable near her, but not too close. He gives her a friendly nod in return. "I'm Kurt."

He pulls his legs up near his chest, resting his arms on his knees. "Sometimes you just need this. Breathing room. Away from everything," he murmurs, just speaking out loud.

"You, too," he gives her a friendly nod. Kurt's never really been the type to go for a relaxing stroll through the gardens. It sounds peaceful, of course, it's just not his thing. But this definitely is. Mostly because there's some solitude to be found, there's a chance to reflect in the quiet and stillness. Though on this particular night, he enjoys the company.

"Do you ever stargaze while you're up here? Pick out the constellations?"

"Not many. Just the ones I think everyone knows: the Big Dipper, Little Dipper. Orion," he speaks softly, giving a little nod to the night sky. "My sister and I used to come up with stories for the stars when we camped."
