Summary: Indiana Jones Movie Night
The Story:



The first thing people will notice when walking up to the theater, is the entrance that looks like it has been turned into a cave. Upon entering they will see that the theater has been transformed into something out of an archaeological dig. They will see the obvious screen on the back wall, but the seating is surrounded by scaffolding and wooden crates of various shapes and sizes. In front of the first row of seating is a fire pit made out of skulls. Don't worry though, its magic fire, it won't burn if touched and it won't set the whole theater ablaze.

If you stray over to the refreshments table, you won't be disappointed. Darcy and Billy have gone all out. Snake themed desserts are all the rage.

The movie starts late, giving people ample time to show up, grab food and find a seat. All four movies will be shown for whoever wants to sit through all of them or just watch their favorites.

"Huh?" Her tactics certainly work and draw his attention back, a slightly puzzled look on his face until he hears the command to breathe and he laughs, "What? I'm talking, I'm breathing!"

It's fiiiiine. He could do this for hours! Definitely has in the past with Barry. Many a STAR Labs movie nights ended in ridiculous bickery banter.

"Uh-huh," Iris says knowingly, but not without a grin.

She knows you, buddy. She knows you. Iris offers Cisco more popcorn, all while she gets a handful more for herself. "From the looks of it, we missed a pretty killer movie night last year, too. The theme was Jurassic Park."

"Ha! Yeah," he laughs a little. "I got an up close and personal view of that. That's how I met Billy, actually." Cisco may be practically bouncing in his seat right now. Sorry, Iris, he's so easily excitable sometimes. "I heard weird noises when I was walking by in the hall and when I poked my head in to investigate, I thought for a second there that a raptor was gonna eat my face." He shakes his head a little. "The holo-tech was giving him issues."

Iris turns to Cisco with an expression that is unmistakably fond.

"Is there anything you can't fix?" she asks him, shaking her head. She's never met quite a brain like Cisco's, so inventive and thought-racing. He, Barry, and Caitlin. They all have such admirable skills that when put together, feel truly indomitable.

Despite that inventive intellect, Cisco has never been arrogant, in fact, he's more likely to downplay his own talents than anything else.Even now, he's almost sheepish at the question-shaped compliment. "Ahh," he waves a dismissive hand in her general direction. "there's plenty of things that give me problems." Plenty of unfinished prototypes littering the workshop in the lab back home.

"Don't sell yourself short," Iris says, poking at his shoulder with an index finger. Cisco is amazing and he should know it. "Wasn't it Einstein that said the key to his success was not that he was smarter, but that he stuck with problems longer?"

Iris may not know how to science, but she does know quotes from the people who can science. Because writer.

He laughs and playfully swats her hand away. "Okay, okay, there...is that." he points at her, like she really got away with something, here. This is part of why his friendship with Iris works so well. She's stubborn and persistent and refuses to let her friends believe anything less of themselves. She's exactly the kind of person he needs to keep around.

Iris grins.

There may have been a moment of hesitation, but his agreement is something. She rests her head on his shoulder, pulling the blanket further up to her chest, but also making sure that some of it is covering him, too. It's getting chilly in the room.

"I'm glad you're here, you know that?"

His grin lingers, but fades into a more genuine, heart-warmed smile when she settles against him and says that. "Yeah?" He cants his head a little to look at her, a soft, appreciative hum punctuating his statement. "I'm glad you're here too, Iris." He rests his cheek against the top of her head, that smile still on his lips. Iris West? Nah. Iris Best.
