Who: Freya Mikaelson + YOU / Some Closed Starters Where: Various Wonderland Places When: June/July 2017 Rating: PG-13 Summary: Catch-all for Freya for the AC period. The Story:
Details, mostly. [A beat.] Actually, come with me.
[Regina stands up.]
Some time ago, myself and... a version of Snow White set up a magic research room nearby. It fell into disuse, but it's still here. We can continue this there.
[Regina is silent on the short walk, thinking about the ingredients she needs. And if there's anything else she can add to the spell.]
Here we are.
[She raises her hands and a white light appears on the door before vanishing. As she opens the door, she turns to Freya.]
Protection spell. I wasn't using it, but there's things in here that shouldn't fall into the wrong hands.
['Wrong hands' is of course, entirely subjective. The room itself is fairly large and open, one wall covered in notes about Wonderland itself, another section of the room dedicated to tomes, magical or otherwise from whatever sources Regina could get them.]
[She doesn't need to explain. At least Freya isn't working out of a hutch in the woods anymore.]
She's more powerful. If my theory is right, she's still bound to my aunt, and part of a spell that would progressively augment her power every hundred years. I am no longer in such a predicament, so my magic is weaker.
[She's still powerful, but she no longer had Dahlia to channel.]
[Regina continues to search for ingredients while Freya explains. Just a few more...]
Would she still be bound, if your aunt isn't here? [She's guessing that's what the theory part is about.] I might have something to block her magic next time she crosses over. For a time, at least. I'll check once I finish this.
While she likely isn't literally bound to the spell that my aunt used on me, the Queen created her in that image. I have no reason to believe that she won't be as powerful as I was then.
[And that's not a fun thought, because that will make her very hard to kill.]
But any advantage we can take, I'd like to use it.
She did give a warning. But it was seven months earlier and contained very little of what she actually intended.
[She made it clear that she was going to bleed Elena. What she didn't indicate is how far her plan had splintered, up to and including using her brother. Freya is, however, making a point to pay attention to what Regina is doing with the potion, curious as to how the magic works.]

Of course. Lead the way.
[She is also all for a magic research room, please let her read through some stuff.]

somehow lost this tag, sorry
No, it's smart. I had similar booby-traps on my bell tower back home.
[That she misses. Though to be honest, that may be her missing the privacy more than anything else.]
no worries!
A bell tower? [She glances at Freya.] Makes sense.
[No, she's not explaining.]
Now, your Mirror. You mentioned your magic was close to hers, how are they different?

[Aha, there's the final ingredient. With those found, she starts preparing the potion.]
I don't suppose she's the kind of person to leave a warning so you know what to expect next.
[Things are so much easier with villains who announce every little detail of their plans.]

Didn't happen to leave anything this time, did she?
[... Yeah, she's prying a little. The potion is going smoothly -- looking far more like modern day chemistry than the potion brewing of old.]

She stole something from me, actually. She was very careful.
