I mean humanity is such a limiting term, but yeah. People could shut off their emotions and not feel a damn thing... And when they didn't, they were just overwhelmed with feelings. It was frickin' awful. You couldn't win either way.

I mean...yeah, basically. After awhile you get kind of used to it, but five days isn't exactly long enough for that.

[Her nose crinkles up.]
