+ For Glory! For Death! +
Who: EVERYONE & Unwanted Guests
Where: The Grounds & The Palace
When: August 27th to 29th
Rating: PG-13 to R for fighting, violence, and death
Summary: Attackers from other realms threaten the Asgardian palace and your very lives! This is where you fight or flee, the place for all your combat mingle needs.
The Story:
+ Day 3 : Rock Trolls and Ogres +

Rock Trolls and Ogres are strong, tough and surprisingly fast, with great muscular bulk. Their sight is keen, and they hunger for human flesh. Fortunately they are lacking in tactical skill, and few to none will manage to break through Asgard's protective barrier to enter the palace. ( x ) ( x )
+ Day 4 : Frost Giants +

The Forst Giants will scare off yesterday's attackers almost entirely, bringing a greater threat to the palace. They are faster and stronger still, and skilled in cryokinesis. One touch by their hand might freeze a warrior whole, if they don't stop the spread of cold on time. Several of their numbers will manage to break through Asgard's protective barrier to enter the palace. ( x )
+ Day 5 : Dark Elves +

The Dark Elves are the last and greatest threat to Asgard. They rely on stealth and deadly energy weapons, their strength and craftiness yet unparalleled. They are weak to iron, and any warrior would be lucky to discover this weakness on time. They infiltrate the palace from the caves, and nearly all of their numbers will attack from the inside. ( x )

he meets her not-quite stifled infatuation with him with a sidelong smile. ) I'll take that as a compliment. ( and he does. ) I'm certain you've meant it as one. ( if he considers it thoroughly, he can recall a time or two.
the ogre finally gets its bearing and charges with an unseemly roar. with nothing but a facial shrug, klaus blurs behind him and impales him from heart to head. the ogre falls. ) Frankly it's almost too easy.
( famous last words probably
famous last words definitely because a rampaging rock troll takes that opportunity to fling klaus about twenty feet :(
best writer ever, that's me)no subject
Of course you'd think that.
[She watches as Klaus continues to stretch his lead, only to be flung aside violently a moment later. Her eyes widen, following his flight path. She could probably catch him or something but...nah. He can enjoy that like bruise to his ego. It's not like it would last.
She turns to look at the rock troll starting to make it's way toward her, even as she's stretching out her neck.]
What the heck are you?

the rock troll responds with nothing but a roar and attacks, fifteen feet tall and touting a spiked mace. )

She sighs and turns her head back to the troll.]
Dude, you are so screwed.
[And then she's all movement, using her smaller height and quicker speed to easily maneuver around him, her hands grabbing at one of its legs and pulling as it continues to try to 'run' in the other direction.
The leg rips away from its body at the hip, and Caroline tosses it aside, turning to watch what Klaus does with what's left.]

he's at his feet by the time caroline has done her damage. the troll roars a grievous, wrathful roar, the sound echoing along the battlefield, pieces of him crumbling as he endeavors with little grace and success to push himself up. klaus' eyes rest on the fallen mace.
he shoots forward, picks it up, and hurtles the end into the troll's back. half of it becomes a rock slide.
still alive, the opponent writhes. klaus doesn't bother finish it off. as far as klaus is concerned, a little agony will do it nicely.
dirty, bloodied, and satisfied, he looks to caroline. ) I've lost count. ( he dimples and there's something wicked in the expression. ) What's this one?

Honestly, it's getting off easy.]
I think I've stopped caring who wins.
