The puppy gets to go home

Where: Anywhere. Newt is running about touching rifts to try and get himself back to Wonderland each time it passes.

Summary: The moment Newt finds himself in one moment of Hogwarts, even Hogwarts future, he will keep working to get there again. This leaves openings for so many moments in Hogwarts - as well as any other event you want to throw at him! Open for anything.
The Story:

The first time Newt sees one of the shimmering rips, he is hesitant. The last one like that he saw led to him seeing Tina executed. Because of him.

Yet Newt's own nature gets the better of him, and he can't resist moving closer. Not even realizing he's touched it until he finds himself standing in the middle of a very familiar classroom. Nothing seems to have changed in potions since he himself attended Hogwarts.

Laughing, he starts exploring a school he knows well, seeking out whatever changes their might be. Exploring the quidditch pitch on foot and with broom, the classrooms, even seeking out the Hufflepuff common room, delighting in a chance to be back at Hogwarts since he was kicked out.

Whenever he finds himself back in Wonderland though, Newt starts seeking out other of those rips, trying to find his way back to Hogwarts. It is taking the chance with whatever kinds of worlds and events he might experience, but that's worth it in his mind to find Hogwarts again.

"Oh, I'm no good with animals..." She quickly goes back to doom and gloom again. "I'm not really good with anything, except healing and taking care of others..."

[mr_englishguy]

"Why not? Are you afraid of them?" He asks it softly, concerned as his head cants. "I can help you with that, if you ever wanted to. I have one or two here that you could meet. And healing and caring for others is a great skill. One too many don't understand. That is wonderful."

[naughty_nurse]

Mikan blinks, thrown off a little. Animals here? Did he mean like a puppy or a kitty, or... a magic Hogwarts animal?

"...You have them here...?"

[mr_englishguy]

"A few of them. I got one from the space station when we were there," he admits. "And then a few that I got from the closet that aren't what I was seeking, but I do love as I learn about them."

[naughty_nurse]

"W... what kind of animals are they?" She can't help but become curious.

[mr_englishguy]

"Andy is a pyjak, and he came from the space station. A bit like a lemur and a monkey. Then there's what I've learned is a fennec fox, as well as one of the tiniest forms of weasel I've ever seen. Also a beautiful and elegant twig bug. "

He speaks of them with such pride, showing how much they mean to him.

[naughty_nurse]

That all sounded pretty adorable - except the last thing. "They sound really cute..." She says quietly with a smile.

[mr_englishguy]

"They are, and I would be more than willing to educate you on them, as I'm learning and what I've learned so far. If you'd like."

[naughty_nurse]

Mikan nodded slowly. If it meant they would stick together, she'd go through whatever he wanted. "Okay... I-I think I'd like that."

[mr_englishguy]

"Delightful. We can make plans for it. Perhaps out in the gardens. It's beautiful out there and they could use the time but in the sun," he admits, thinking about ways he might keep them from running off while getting them the time in the grass they need.

Mikan slowly begins to smile again. A nice man, cute pets, sunshine in the garden... It sounded like a lovely, relaxing time. "Heehee... I... I'm getting excited, I think..."

[mr_englishguy]

"Well good then. They need their time outside, and it's good for us as well," he admitted.

[naughty_nurse]

"It's very good for the healthy body." As a SHSL nurse, Mikan couldn't help but say this. "Like a big source of vitamins."

[mr_englishguy]

"Exactly. I grew up in England where there was so little sun for so much of the year. I quickly learned the value of sunlight whenever I could. If only for the animals," he admits, because their health always did come first.

[naughty_nurse]

"Oh... England..." Mikan gives this some thought. She'd always thought that was an exaggeration! "I-I'm from Japan... I've always thought the weather was normal, but... it's weird here, in Wonderland. The weather never really changes, unless its for events."

[mr_englishguy]

"Oh. I've always wanted to visit Japan, but my studies haven't taken me there. Yet. One day they will though."

That makes him pause, considering that. "Do you think it's possible we're in some sort of dome or interior of a building?"

[naughty_nurse]

"I have no idea." Mikan says honestly. "Whenever I don't know anything about Wonderland... I just assume it's magic."

[mr_englishguy]

"My world the answer often is magic, but I haven't seen anything at this level."
