Summary: Wynonna tries out some ability disks for fun and profit. Pick a scenario and have fun with her. Prose or Actionspam welcome. Also other threads for the month will be in here too.
The Story:

a. the training room

The first disc Wynonna puts in is one labeled "super strength" and she wanted to test it out properly -- which means she can be found lifting up some of the equipment and putting it back down after, just because she can. She can also be found punching sandbags and sending them flying into the wall with the strength of her punch. It's pretty badass, honestly. And if anyone else with powers is around she might be challenging them to a sparring match to see how she can hold her own against them.

Come on. Let her have a little fun.

b. the beach

The second disc she tries is one labeled fire abilities. She's glathered some wood and other materials and is trying to start an impromptu bonfire but here's the problem -- once she starts the fire she doesn't really know how to control it and it is quickly becoming quite unwieldly and dangerous if someone doesn't intervene and help her control it.

Please help her, someone.

c. damon's bar

After the incident with the fire she's feeling a little more cautious about things. She can be found sitting behind the bar like she often is, holding a disc that she seems to be considering deep in thought. The power listed on this one is magnetism -- an ability that reminds her of Bobo Del Rey and a lot of the unpleasant memories she has of his particular power causing problems for them back in Purgatory. She's almost curious to try it just to see what it feels like -- but she's not so certain. She might need some encouragement.

[ it's a charming story, actually. at the very least it's the sort of affection that peggy can understand and speak herself as a kind of wordless language. challenge, leading to a kind of kind antagonizing. she doesn't say this, however.

she only smiles. ]

I hope that means you've only gotten better at thwarting him.

He's faster than me most days, but I am getting better at finding ways to get him to give it back to me. [whether that means stealing one of his knives or holding his hat hostage, she's nothing is not creative when it comes to things like that. wynonna would have no interest in being with someone who couldn't challenge her and keep her on her feet.]

...Sounds as though you should make an effort to get quicker. [ peggy leans an elbow on the bar top. ] Keep him on his toes.

[middlefinger]

I mean, I have definitely tried, but he was known as one of the fastest shots in history -- even if I can't get faster than him, though, I still manage to keep him on his toes.

[her life with doc was many things, but she thinks it's safe to say neither one of them would ever claim it's boring.]

[mucked]

Not quicker, then. [ a beat. ] But cleverer. The sort of clever that involves decoys and traps.

[middlefinger]

[wynonna can't help but grin a little at that.] Now that sounds like fun. It's one of my greatest joys in life when I can actually catch him off guard.

[mucked]

I'm certain we can come up with something. [ ... ] Nothing too mean-spirited. He's a bit reserved, [ understatement, ] but I have a hunch he's the sort of someone who won't be too upset if you have a bit of fun.

[ the giant taco said it all, really, that day at the carnival. doc would do anything for this woman. ]

Oh, he's not as reserved as you think, he just keeps that side of him behind closed doors. [which is maybe oversharing but whatever, wynonna has no problem oversharing with people.]

Honestly, there's probably very little he wouldn't let me get away with. It's a dangerous sort of power.

[mucked]

[ oversharing indeed! with a coy smile and another sip of whiskey, peggy interjects: ]

I think I've heard quite enough about that, thank you.

[ there's a glint of something devilish in her, at least. she's not all frowns and hard work. ]

[middlefinger]

Fair enough.

[wynonna, despite what one can think, can take a hint sometimes. if she likes the person enough to, anyway. and she does like peggy. so she lets the subject drop and the two women can continue drinking in each other's company.
