OPEN } big adventures tons of fun a beautiful heart faithful and strong
Who: My Little Phonies
Where: All around the mansion
When: 10/19 - 10/21
Rating: THIS IS A CHILDREN'S SHOW
Summary: Starlight Glimmer is making poor life choices. Everyone else gets to suffer now.
The Story:
Maybe you're outside, enjoying the fall weather. Maybe you're in the kitchen, or just wandering the halls. It doesn't matter. As soon as you lay eyes on that purple pony, walking around with a cyan-glowing horn and an insufferably smug look on her face, your world will twist.
Suddenly you're on four hooves, not two feet. You have a mane. Maybe you're lucky enough to have wings, or a horn. You aren't a human now. You're a pony, your special talent emblazoned on your flank to show the world who you are.
But clearly, this is how things have always been, right? Pay no attention to your memories of hands, this is normal now.
[ooc: Feel free to make your own top levels and go wild! See here for ooc plotting. Also here if you want to make a custom pony.]

He has some mighty suspicions and here is Starlight, relaxing and wearing that smug look she has when she's done something she thinks is clever, but is usually recklessly not thought out. He walks over to her, squinting. He sees you, Miss Missy.
"You know, it's weird. Whenever there's an event, those who are connected to the world it takes its information from wake up feeling lousy. Probably due to the memory loss," he sounds so very conversational, but the look he's casting her is anything but. "And yet, I didn't feel like that this morning. It's very weird isn't it, Starlight? Almost like it's not an event at all."

"Starliiiiight. You can't just turn everyone into ponies, that's- well that's not really a solution to the problem here. I'm going to assume you payed with their memories too? No- no don't answer that, I already know the answer."
She's always been so very experimental when it came to magic. Far the braver of them, always ready to push limits. Unfortunately, she also pushes limits that strictly shouldn't be pushed. She never really means to make such a huge mess- he knows this and he loves her- but she always makes a huge mess.
"Star, we've got to switch them back. This is wrong. They're starting to realise they're not in the bodies they're supposed to be in and it's messing with their heads."
no subject
"I could fix that! The spell was pretty generalized, but if it isn't sticking right, I can finetune..."
She trails off, ears drooping. "I guess... this is one of those I should have asked first things, isn't it?"
Probably should have learned this with the Pines family, but she thought she had it right this time. And she did! The spell worked perfectly! But maybe just because she can do something doesn't mean she should.
no subject
"Yeah, yeah you really should have."
He can't stay angry, though- never at her. No matter what mess she gets herself into, he likes to think he can at least be there to pull her out of it. He owes her that much, after everything. He offers her a smile, putting a hoof on her shoulder.
"I understand why. I know it's frustrating. But...they're what they are, and we're what we are. I mean, you wouldn't like it if they made us become human, would you?"
Because that was a horrible no good time last time it happened. He doesn't want to repeat that for anything.
no subject
She can't really put her finger on why it's different except that she really wants it to be.
"I'm just so tired of people being weird about it. You've been here even longer than me. How do you handle it?"
Since turning everyone into ponies isn't an option for him.

He pauses, because that's...only a half truth and probably a bit more brutally honest than he intended. He heaves out a sigh, looking skyward.
"I don't know, Starlight. I just learned to cope with it. The non-ponies here will either come around and talk to us like we're sentient beings or they won't. All we can do to help that along is be ourselves around them. After that? Well, it's not on us to get them to come around, it's on them. If they don't, it's their loss."
no subject
I just wanted to make it easier. For both of us.
no subject
I...uh appreciate the effort- but I can live with the non-ponies being...well, them. We still have each other, right? So long as we have that, then we can deal with the rest.
no subject
[Even she isn't sure if it's a joke or a warning or a hysterical cry for help. She's trying to keep learning about friendship, but it's really not easy.]

Trust me, I'll do everything in my power to stick around. [A beat.] So please don't do anything really crazy.
