Summary: As the Gryphon announced, there is an event. Everyone is now living as if one regret they formerly had no longer exists.

Ah...! [He quickly recovers from that point, however.] Hold on, Enoshima-kun! You cannot say that for sure! It remains possible that, through our studies, we can come across whatever answers we need. After all, hard work is the force that can make anything possible!

And are you really in such a hurry to get back to being trapped in the Academy with Monokuma?

The odds may be low of vital clues being provided to us, but it is not impossible! Even the most powerful of beings are capable of oversights and mistakes! [He knows that all too well, from the example of his grandfather.]

And, while I would hesitate to say that I would rush back, I do look forward to returning home. We may have suffered losses, but I feel sure that we'll be able to turn the tables on Monokuma before any more murders occur! Once I am back home and with my bro, I just know that together we can conceive the perfect plan to seize our freedom!

[Yeah that doesn't sound right to her. He's way too different, so either this is Mirror Ishimaru or way more likely it's an event. Which is despairingly interesting to her since this is her first real experience with these sort of things.]

[Since she's pretending to be from an early (by his experience) point in their school life, she hasn't the faintest idea who that could be. Having attended school with him for a while, she could easily guess it, but if she just threw out the right name it'd be weird.]

[She looks confused, like she's not sure of her own answer. Or about him saying bro, for all she's pretending to know that's a weird new development.]

[Ishimaru blinks and then responds with a hearty a laugh.]

Ahahaha! Not exactly. To be clear, Naegi-kun is a very reliable young man who has helped me to understand such concepts as the path to friendship, and he has some skill at cracking a case! I would call him a dear friend and a valuable ally. However, the brother of my soul is someone quite different. This might be a bit unexpected to you, but the person in question is none other than Mondo Oowada!

[Not really, but she'll pretend it is.]

I mean you guys seem like you'd butt heads more than anything else.

You would think that! To be honest? At first, that was all that we did! But that caused us to take part in quite the hot-blooded challenge. As we competed in a contest of endurance within the school's sauna, a bond stronger than blood was forged! We saw that we had quite a bit in common, and we decided to be brothers! There is nothing that we cannot overcome... including being separated by this place. And also including Monokuma!

Really? Man, I'm not in a hurry to get back to all that, but I can't wait to see that.

[There's a big smile here like she definitely couldn't be one of those losses he mentioned before. Or perhaps it's more accurate to think that Junko Enoshima isn't one of those and not necessarily her.]

[That does trip him up, and his smile fades as he's reminded of one flaw in his plan. If he returns to the exact moment that he left, then Junko could still be condemned to death. As would Sayaka and Leon. He's quick to try to cover himself up.]

A-ah, well, of course we should not rush it! In fact... it might be better to find a way to return at an earlier time to begin with! Then we could stop the whole mess from starting entirely!

Earlier? Can that happen? I mean it'd be great to stop Monokuma before it happens, but I don't know wouldn't that mess up the timeline or something?

[She's not from the Spike Chunsoft franchise that addresses things like this so she'll ask this like she really has no clue. Which is pretty easy because time travel's not really something she's put a lot of serious thought into.]

Well, ah... The good thing about Wonderland is that here, anything is truly possible! So the plan has some bugs to iron out, b-but I feel confident that eventually we can set a 'go home and save everyone from death' plan set into motion!

[Whether it succeeds or fails, she can only see despair in this plan's outcome, so of course she's going to help.]

Then consider the matter settled! [Ishimaru's smile returns, bolstered by Junko's reaction, and he joyously claps his hands together.]
