Summary: As the Gryphon announced, there is an event. Everyone is now living as if one regret they formerly had no longer exists.

[ She laughs, but it's followed up by a playful eyeroll when she realises she really isn't going to escape from this little educational session here. Ishimaru is a friend though, so she won't push back too hard anyway. She wants to keep him happy, after all. ]

What kind of ocean facts have you got then?

All sorts! [He beams proudly.]

For starters, did you know that oceans cover approximately 70 percent of the Earth?! That also makes it the source of a majority of the world's oxygen! So the existence of oceans is a bit more important than one might assume...

[A beat. He then admits, with mild embarrassment:]

...Of course, those facts apply to Earth as I know it. I am afraid that I do not know if the same is true for Wonderland's ocean!

[entreats]

Well, it ought to be pretty big too, considering there doesn't seem to be anything to be seen out there. [ Just.. water. A lot of it. ]

How about the things that live in the ocean? You know, in the real deep parts of it. [ General ocean facts might not be all that interesting to Ange, but this gets a little closer to something that might actually be kind of entertaining. ] It seems kind of cool to travel all the way down there. Almost no one has been there before. It'd be like an adventure!

[moraloutrage]

[Ishimaru nods along. He makes a good point! Maybe this ocean is a great source of oxygen for the planet. But in a world as irrational as this one, who could tell for sure?

He smiles as she goes on.]

Well done, Urshiromiya-kun! You have brought up an interesting fact of your own. From what I hear, the creatures that live on the bottom of the ocean are truly odd and fascinating! And it is largely unexplored territory... new species are still being discovered in those depths to this day! And this ocean must truly be even more ripe with unique discoveries waiting to be made! Ah... if only we could acquire some type of powerful submarine!

[entreats]

[ See? Even if Ishimaru is a gigantic nerd, he at least seems to have the right ideas about some things. Like how exciting an adventure like that would be. ]

If we somehow had one, would you go with me to see what it's like? Friends should be looking out for each other, after all. [ She's saying it so easily.. Enjoy it while it lasts, Ishimaru. ]

[moraloutrage]

[Ishimaru chimes in very quickly and eagelry.]

Of course!! I would be glad to explore new uncharted territory with you, Ushriomiya-kun! And I swear that I would do anything that I could to keep you safe! I am one of the most responsible partners you could hope for!

I am glad that you are being much more open about our friendship. This warms my heart!

[entreats]

You say that like I've ever not been open about it.

[ Because why would she! This Ange totally does not understand the appeal of burying all your emotions deep down in an attempt to try and seem cool and not get hurt at the same time.

In fact, an obviously jokingly hurt expression appears on her face. ]

Or are you trying to imply I don't put enough effort into our friendship? Do you want some great birthday gift and this is your subtle way of telling me?

[moraloutrage]

N-no, I did not mean that at all! [Ishimaru exclaims with a panic, as obvious as the joking nature of her expression might mean.] You do not need to observe my birthday in any special way at all. I appreciate any and all effort that you have put into things in the past, and I know that you are a caring person! In the past, you have just seemed... somewhat more reluctant about embracing the idea!

[entreats]

[ She blinks, clearly looking kind of confused here. ]

Reluctant? Me? [ Ange's gaze wanders off for a moment, like she's considering it. ] I had no idea that I'd come across like that to other people.. I think it's important to show people that you care about them, after all. I mean, I like it when people show they care about me too.

[moraloutrage]

Is that so? [He blinks as he takes in that response, frowning in confusion.] I am sorry if this troubles you! There must have been some sort of misunderstanding... In any case, I am glad to have confirmation of how much you care!

[entreats]

Ah.. Don't worry! If it's just a misunderstanding, it's not really troubling to begin with, right?

[ No use in overthinking everything and brooding on everything forever! That's not this Ange's vibe, nope siree. She does look very genuinely unconcerned with it. ]

Besides, if you want to hear me say it more often, just tell me. [ That much is said jokingly, at least - it's obvious from her tone and smile. ]

[That does give a small laugh out of him.]

That will be quite alright! You should say only what you feel like saying, and when you feel like saying it. I would not force anything beyond that out of you, Ushiromiya-kun! I am overjoyed just spending time with you, no matter what your disposition may be!
