Summary: As the Gryphon announced, there is an event. Everyone is now living as if one regret they formerly had no longer exists.

He shrugs, wiping down the bar and doing what he can to set things neat.

"No reason not to be? I mean, besides the whole Wonderland thing but it's one of the better days. You?"

"I'm as fine as I ever am."

Which is to say, usually, not fine at all. She turns away from him and grabs a bar mop, wiping down the surface just to give her hands something to do.

"Things with you and Maggie good?" She watches him from the corner of her eye, wondering if this will be like last time when their memories completely changed, or if this one is more of a personality shift.

Or maybe she's reading too much into it. Maybe he is just in a good mood and it's nothing to do with Wonderland at all.

Although, she doubts it.

"Fine as ever?" He makes a face then, not liking that wording, not in the least. Sure she's got her problems with this place, Trixie being the first one of them, but that speaks of something so much more.

He grins though at that question, a bit wide and kind of dopey looking. "Yeah. I mean, unless you've heard something," he says, though there's no hint of worry in those teasing tones. "I'll head over there once Maze takes over here. I know they can grab what they want and all, but just doesn't feel right to leave it unattended, you know?"

He shrugs, not sure why he does it except to feel busy.

"I can't imagine my mom's face if she saw me tending bar," he says, laughing. "Probably expect a free tab."

She shrugs, but doesn't elaborate. Her own problems are hers, and while she knows she can talk to Seth about them, they aren't exactly the priority.

Especially when he's mentioning his mother.

"That's the same reason I keep working here. I never imagined actually working at Lux back home but... Lucifer loves this place. It didn't seem right to just let it go when he left."

So she sticks around, serving beers and pretending like she has any idea what she's doing. She still doesn't have a clue.

"I'm sure she'd be happy you find ways to stay out of trouble." That seems vague enough to not sound probing but also maybe get her some more information about what the hell is going on.

Seth pauses, glancing up and over her head at the space around them. His smile is soft, not as biting as it often can be.

"I miss him sometimes," he admits, something that isn't changed with his clothes and mannerisms but definitely nothing he would have admitted before now. "He was unlike anyone I had ever known and..." He shrugs, giving her a sadder version of that smile. "Sorry. I know it's worse for you."

And while this Seth doesn't remember why he misses Lucifer acutely, Seth knows why he does normally. Like Maggie and Chloe, Lucifer represented friendships and connection he'd never had before Wonderland.

Seth has certainly never admitted it in so many words to her, even if she knows it's true. For all the back and forth that went on between them, for all the complications that Chloe had, in large part, caused when all three of their lives entangled, Lucifer certainly left his mark on everyone. Even Seth.

"Yeah, well, we all miss someone." She doesn't look him in the eye, though. It doesn't make her feel better not to talk about him, but she can almost trick herself into thinking it makes a difference. He's better off in the same place her father is, the same place Trixie often is - a compartment inside of herself that she does her best not to open.
