{Oh, how we cope with these slow days

"A hint here or there might not kill the entire universe." Why, yes, Kol is an eternally petulant child. He tips his head slightly to one side, curiosity piquing. "Yeah? And where did you find that information, mate?"

[mandrakes]

"The hints may be there to be found, but the wrong places are being searched." After all, Wonderland never went about giving anything to them easily. This very situation tells that well enough.

"It was the last place I would have ordinarily looked, as I said. But we were not looking for the same things. Where would you not think to find the information you are currently seeking?"

"Perhaps." It was rather like Wonderland to do things both upside down and backwards, after all. Maybe he wasn't on the worst track. But that said, he isn't sure where else go. "That's a good question," he muses, hand on his hip as he contemplates.

[mandrakes]

"'Contrariwise'," Regis says with a small, bemused smile. It wouldn't be such a strange thing at all to expect to find what you need in the last place you think to look. Of course, getting there more quickly requires a little anticipation of where you might have checked after all other options were exhausted.

"Have you considered the history section?"

"That was the first place I looked," he admits with a soft sigh. "But there doesn't seem to be any history on this place, aside from what its displaced residents' write up, and I suppose most of that has been lost to disappearances of the people that wrote it. I just have Dipper and Georgia's accounts of things to go on, there."

[mandrakes]

"Mm... I suppose it was a predictable option." But Kol is right, and he's very right in the frustration that the complete lack of verifiable information that can be found here.

"Though I understand that records made while someone is here don't vanish along with them. People manage to leave letters and certain belongings." He could be showing a little too much optimism in thinking there's any rhyme or reason for that.

"Evelyn kept quite detailed records. Sunburst ought to know where they are."

"Yeah? D'ya know what the difference is? Why some stuff manages to stick around, when most of it disappears with them?" That seems... oddly arbitrary, somehow. Kol nods, "All right, good that. I'll talk to him about it."
